Vogt (elbow) threw from 90 feet on Saturday and was also able to hit off a tee, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt increased his throwing distance by thirty feet on Saturday, ramping it up to 90 feet from 60 feet earlier in the week. He is being brought along slowly from elbow surgery in January but the veteran catcher appears to be progressing well without any setbacks to this point. Provided that he continues to make progress, he figures to be ready for Opening Day.

Vogt made 20 throws from 60 feet Tuesday in his first time throwing since elbow surgery in January, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt said he felt good and there were no issues, which is yet another positive sign that the A's starting catcher will be ready for Opening Day. The 31-year-old will look to build off his successful 2015 campaign that saw him hit .261/.341/.443 with 18 home runs and 71 RBI.

Vogt is hitting off a tee and appears to be well ahead of schedule, reports Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.
EDGE Analysis
This is great news for the A's as their catching depth is very sketchy after Vogt and Josh Phegley. Barring any setbacks, Vogt should be ready for Opening Day, but the team will likely ease him in to catching duties early on.

Vogt is expected to make his spring training debut in mid-March and is still expected to be ready for Opening Day, reports Joe Stiglich of CSN Bay Areat.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt had surgery on his right elbow in late January after having some discomfort while throwing. Vogt has already reported to camp and appears to be on the 4-6 week timetable that was initially noted after the surgery. It seems likely Vogt could get some at-bats at first base or DH early on in the season to keep some wear off his arm that comes from playing catcher.

Vogt underwent right elbow surgery Friday and is expected to be recovering for four to six weeks and be ready for opening day, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't known that there was an issue with Vogt's elbow since he had some trouble with it in the summer, but apparently something was bad enough that it required an arthroscopic procedure Friday. The 31-year-old backstop could miss the first week or two of spring training games, but it's promising to know that the front office think's he'll be ready by Opening Day. The situation is worth monitoring in case of any setbacks, however.

Vogt is out of the lineup Thursday, the Fort Worth Star Telegram's Jeff Wilson reports.
EDGE Analysis
He won't be in the lineup every day, as he's still not been cleared to catch, so DH and first base are his main avenues for at-bats. That said, the expectation is that Vogt could return to catching sometime this weekend. Mark Canha will get the start at first with Carson Blair starting behind the dish.

EDGE Analysis
Vogt might still be fairly far away from being ready to catch, considering the A's just selected org depth catcher Bryan Anderson's contract. He should still see the lineup as a DH, but it's likely he's not 100 percent yet.
