Vogt is hitting off a tee and appears to be well ahead of schedule, reports Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.

This is great news for the A's as their catching depth is very sketchy after Vogt and Josh Phegley. Barring any setbacks, Vogt should be ready for Opening Day, but the team will likely ease him in to catching duties early on.
