Vogt is out of Wednesday's lineup against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
After starting five straight games and going 2-for-5 with a triple in Tuesday's contest, Vogt will have a day to rest and be replaced by Josh Phegley. He could return to the lineup Thursday when Oakland faces the right-handed Tim Lincecum and the Angels.

Vogt is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
It will be the fourth straight game on the bench for Vogt, as Oakland takes on yet another left-hander in Derek Holland on Wednesday. The catcher will once again make way to Josh Phegley behind the plate, who will bat sixth.

Vogt is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers, Joe Stiglich of CSN California reports.
EDGE Analysis
He will sit in favor of Josh Phegley for a third straight game with the A's facing their third straight left-handed starter. Vogt is just 6-for-33 (.182 average) against southpaws so far this season while Phegley is 7-for-23 against lefties, so expect the platoon to continue.

Vogt is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
It's a well-deserved day off for Vogt, who had started the past seven games, with six of those nods coming at catcher. Josh Phegley will be behind the plate for Sunday's series finale.

Vogt went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran backstop accounted for all of the A's' offense on the night, taking Anthony DeSclafani deep in the third inning. It was also the 31-year-old's first round-tripper since May 23. The night's production represented Vogt's third multi-hit effort of June, and fourth in the last seven contests.

Vogt is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt will get the day off Wednesday afternoon with the A's going against left-hander Pat Dean. Josh Phegley will take his place behind the plate, batting sixth in the order for the A's. Vogt and the A's have a travel day Thursday, so his next chance to return to the lineup will come Friday when they open their series with the Astros down in Houston.

Vogt went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt raised his average to .268 -- it's highest mark since May 3 -- while recording a hit in his ninth straight game. The catcher is well off pace to duplicate his breakout season from a year ago, but he's still an above-average option at the position. Vogt continues to see a large workload, even playing the role of DH at times when he's not behind the dish, and the volume of at-bats makes him an attractive option in most formats. The A's offense has struggled in the early goings, however Vogt is ready to rack up numbers from the cleanup spot if the team can get rolling.

Vogt went 1-for-3 with a solo homer, a walk, and a hit-by-pitch for a second RBI in Monday's 5-0 win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Playing in the spacious Safeco Field didn't stop Vogt from hammering his fourth homer of the season for the first run of the game in the seventh inning before adding an insurance run in the eighth through much less impressive means. While the offensive outburst was nice to see, the catcher's ability to draw a walk was an equally important positive sign considering his 4.0 percent walk rate this season is half his career mark.

Vogt (wrist) is in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt sat out Saturday's game after suffering a wrist injury in Friday's contest, but the setback will apparently not cost him any further action. Vogt will serve as the A's catcher Sunday and hit third against Yankees starter Michael Pineda.

The A's hope to have Vogt (wrist) back in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, John Hickey of the San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt is out of the lineup Saturday after suffering a minor wrist injury in Friday's contest, but the hope is that one day of rest will be enough for him to get back behind the plate. Matt McBride will draw the start at catcher Saturday and he'd likely do so again if Vogt is unable to play Sunday.
