X-rays on Vogt's injured wrist showed no broken bones, MLB.com reports.
Vogt was hit in the right wrist by a pitch in the ninth inning of Friday's game. Although it sounds like he avoided a serious injury, he'll likely need a day or two off.

Vogt left Friday's game after being hit by a pitch in the ninth inning, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports.
The Royals' Franklin Morales hit Vogt with a 93 mph pitch near his right wrist/forearm area, and Vogt was then lifted for a pinch runner. He went hitless in his first three at-bats of the night. Consider him day-to-day until the A's provide more information.

Vogt received a cortisone shot in his left elbow Sunday and believes he should be able to return to the lineup Wednesday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
This is the first word of an elbow injury to Vogt, but apparently he's been battling tennis elbow for close to a month. Regardless, Monday's team off day and the day out of the lineup Tuesday should provide ample time for the cortisone shot to take effect and allow Vogt to return Wednesday, though it's possible the team could exercise caution and hold him out for one additional game.

Vogt is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Rangers.
It looks like nothing more than a day off for Vogt, who's played in every game since May 24. Josh Phegley will serve as the backstop, while Ike Davis is in the lineup at first base. Vogt will likely be available as a pinch hitter, if necessary.

Vogt went 3-for-3 Saturday with a walk, a double and an RBI.
He's heating up again, collecting his third multi-hit game in his last six starts to push his slash line on the season back up to .293/.391/.548. Vogt has been one of the season's biggest surprises so far, but he'll likely set a new career high in PAs before the month is out, so look for the A's to try and give him more starts at first base or DH as the season wears on in an effort to keep him fresh.

Vogt is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.
The A's are resting a few regulars in an afternoon game, with Vogt joined on the bench by Brett Lawrie and Marcus Semien. All three will likely rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.
