Vogt (wrist) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt will get the day off after leaving Friday's game with what the A's are calling a minor wrist injury. Matt McBride will take over behind the plate Saturday in place of Vogt. If Vogt has to miss additional time, the A's will be in a bind at catcher given that Josh Phegley is already on the DL with a knee injury.

Vogt emerged from Friday's loss to the Yankees with a minor wrist injury, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt was removed from Friday's game after two at-bats, and manager Bob Melvin revealed that he's battling a wrist ailment, which is expected to keep him from playing Saturday. Assuming that is, indeed, the case, Matt McBride would be the likely fill-in behind the plate.

Vogt is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
This is the second day in a row that Vogt will cede the start behind the plate to Matt McBride. That being said, it comes as no surprise considering left-hander Cole Hamels is pitching for Texas. It's unclear if manager Bob Melvin wants to keep Vogt out of the lineup Wednesday as well with left-hander Martin Perez slated to pitch, but that should become clear once Wednesday's lineup is officially released.

Vogt is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt hasn't had a day off since May 7, and with left-hander Derek Holland throwing for Texas, the A's thought it made sense to give the 31-year-old a day off. Matt McBride will fill in for him behind the plate.

Vogt is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader.
EDGE Analysis
This does not come as a surprise, as catchers very rarely catch both games of a doubleheader. Josh Phegley slots in behind the dish and will hit eighth in the nightcap.

Vogt came away with three hits, including his seventh double of the season, in four at-bats Monday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt came into this matchup against right-handed starter Nathan Karns with high expectations, and was able to find success working in his favorable platoon split. While the catcher drove in 71 runs batting in the heart of the Oakland order last year, he has more doubles (seven) than RBI (six) despite reprising that role in 2016.

Vogt is not in the A's lineup Saturday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
It's simply a routine day off for Vogt, who started each of the last two games behind the plate. Oakland will go with Josh Phegley at catcher, and he'll bat eighth in the order.

Vogt went 1-for-4 with a home run in Thursday's loss to the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old also walked once, just his fourth walk of the season. Last year, Vogt drew free passes at an 11 percent clip, which ranked 25th among all qualifying hitters. Fortunately, the strikeouts are also down in the early going, and he's been hitting more balls on the ground, which should help his average.

Vogt is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
This seems to be a typical rest day for Vogt, as a left-handed pitching matchup can't be the cause considering Justin Verlander is on the bump for the Tigers. Josh Phegley will fill in behind the plate for the night.

Vogt was 2-for-4 with a single and solo homer in Saturday's 5-3 victory over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Manning the DH role while Josh Phegley started behind the plate, Vogt notched his second homer in as many games. The performance also marked his second straight multi-hit effort, and third overall of the season. The 31-year-old's bat has caught fire over the last two games, during which he's hit .625 (5-for-8) with two homers, two RBI and three runs scored.
