Vogt increased his throwing distance by thirty feet on Saturday, ramping it up to 90 feet from 60 feet earlier in the week. He is being brought along slowly from elbow surgery in January but the veteran catcher appears to be progressing well without any setbacks to this point. Provided that he continues to make progress, he figures to be ready for Opening Day.
