Wright (10-5) allowed six runs, five of which were earned, on nine hits and one walk while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win Wednesday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was staked to an 11-1 lead before running into trouble in the sixth and seventh innings, though he had little trouble picking up his 10th win of the year. After owning a 2.01 ERA on June 20, he's failed to post a quality start in his last three outings to raise his ERA to 2.68 on the year. His next start will be after the All-Star break.

Wright (9-5) gave up eight hits, four earned runs and three walks over five innings in Friday's 5-4 victory over the Angels. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The knuckleballer took a shutout into the sixth inning, but appeared to be affected considerably by the rain that started falling at that point. He loaded the bases with no one out, and then saw C.J. Cron drive a 3-2 pitch over the Green Monster for a grand slam. Thanks to the 5-0 lead he'd walked into the inning with, Wright was still able to escape with his first victory in his last three trips to the mound. He'll go for the first double-digit win season of his career when he takes on the Rangers next Wednesday.

Wright allowed eight runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out four in Saturday night's loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
A couple of errors were in the mix during a five-run fifth inning that sealed Wright's fate, but the knuckleballer had trouble getting and staying ahead in the count. When he couldn't get the knuckleball consistently over the plate, Wright threw more fastballs and curveballs -- of his 98 pitches, 23 were fastballs and 19 curveballs. On a normal night, about 25 percent of his pitches are non-knuckleballs, not 43 percent. As such, Texas batters feasted on Wright, who managed just 4.2 innings, his shortest outing of the season by far. Fantasy owners can take solace in the low number of earned runs, but this is also a lesson in fickle nature of kncukleball hurlers. Wright's next scheduled start is this coming Friday at home against the Angels.

Wright was held to a no-decision despite allowing just one unearned run on five hits and three walks while striking out six White Sox over nine innings Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright's performance lowered his ERA to an American League-leading 2.01, but his record remains unchanged at 8-4. Pitching for the team with baseball's most prolific offense means outings like this will rarely go unrewarded. Wright has been throwing well enough lately that even a Saturday trip to Texas next time out doesn't seem so scary.

Wright (8-4) held the O's to three runs on six hits and a walk over 7.1 innings in Wednesday's win. He struck out four and hit two batters.
EDGE Analysis
So, the control wasn't quite as sharp as you'd like, but Wright has nonetheless been a fantasy revelation for those owners who plucked him off the wire. No one expected the knuckleballer to be more than a short-term fill-in, but he's become the de facto ace of Boston's rotation this season. Stranger things have happened, but it seems like Wright is due for his luck to normalize.

Wright allowed one unearned run on seven hits and two walks while striking out six in Boston's 8-1 win over Minnesota on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright lowered his ERA 2.09, tops in the American League, but he had to work around some trouble in the middle innings. He gave up three singles in the fourth, but was helped by Christian Vazquez gunning down a basestealer and then left the bases loaded in the fifth, getting a weak comebacker off the bat of Joe Mauer. Wright doesn't dominate opponents, but he grinds through his starts and is averaging nearly seven innings per start.

Wright (6-4) gave up three hits, three runs (none earned) and five walks over five innings in Saturday's 6-4 victory over the Blue Jays. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran knuckleballer had his shortest outing since May 13, but still walked away with his third straight victory. As customary, Wright exhibited poor control, and walked five batters for the second straight start. However, he was as proficent as ever limiting the damage, and didn't surrender a homer for the third straight trip to the mound. Wright will go for four in a row when he faces the Twins next Friday.

Wright (5-4) went the distance during Boston's win over the Orioles Monday. He allowed two runs on four hits and five walks while fanning seven.
EDGE Analysis
It was Wright's second complete game of the season, and he's gone at least seven innings in four of the past five starts. The knucklerballer lowered his ERA to a 2.45 mark, and he's been one of the most consistent pitchers for Boston during the last month. He'll try to keep it going in his next start against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Though Wright has never pitched more than 148.1 innings in a season, the Red Sox have no limitations set on how much they'll use him this season, the Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Because of Wright's knuckleball style and age (31), the Red Sox are less worried about the potential pratfalls of a big innings jump than they would other pitchers.

Wright (4-4) allowed only two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out seven against the Rockies on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Wright now has gone at least seven innings in three of his last four starts. The knuckleballer has been surprisingly effective in 2016, and it seems there's no way Boston will remove him from the rotation considering the way he's been pitching of late. His next start will be against the Orioles on Monday.
