Wright (6-4) gave up three hits, three runs (none earned) and five walks over five innings in Saturday's 6-4 victory over the Blue Jays. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran knuckleballer had his shortest outing since May 13, but still walked away with his third straight victory. As customary, Wright exhibited poor control, and walked five batters for the second straight start. However, he was as proficent as ever limiting the damage, and didn't surrender a homer for the third straight trip to the mound. Wright will go for four in a row when he faces the Twins next Friday.
