Owings was able to take 30 swings in the cage Saturday and is on track for a simulated game Friday, Jack Magruder of Fox Sports reports. With this recent news, it seems that Owings won't be available until Saturday at the earliest. Even then, he still may need additional time to recover from slightly dislocating his left shoulder back on July 1.
