Chris Owings (shoulder) could be a couple weeks away from a return. Owings is eligible to be activated now, but his bruised left shoulder is healing more slowly than expected. The shortstop has taken some dry swings but has yet to face live pitching since being placed on the disabled list. He's hitting .277/.313/.458 with six homers, 21 RBI and seven steals across 72 games for the D'Backs this season.
