Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson said Monday that Chris Owings (shoulder) has yet to take live batting practice. Owings landed on the disabled list almost exactly one month ago with a bruised left shoulder and his recovery is taking a bit longer than originally expected. Until he starts hitting without discomfort, it's difficult to pinpoint a timetable for his return.
