Mason stopped 36 of 38 to win for the fourth time in five starts Thursday against Winnipeg. In those five starts -- which include the Jan. 10 game in which Mason suffered a lower-body injury that knocked him out of action through the All-Star break -- Mason has allowed just six total goals while posting save marks of .929 or better in each outing. Mase and the Flyers are finally starting to warm up, but they're still a full 10 points out of a playoff spot.

Mason will be between the pipes for Thursday's game against the Jets, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Mason has recovered from a lower-body injury that cost him six games, and he will start Thursday for the first time since Jan. 10. He will face off against a Winnipeg team that won five in a row before falling to the Penguins in its last game Tuesday.

Mason entered Tuesday's game in relief of Ray Emery after Emery allowed two goals on the first four shots he faced, stopping 22 of 23 to lead the Flyers to a comeback and shootout win. A spectacular return for Mason, who'd been playing well before a lower-body injury knocked him out of action for more than two weeks. He wasn't expected to get onto the ice Tuesday, and especially not six minutes into the first period, but Mason was ready to go. He should return to making most of the starts for Philadelphia.

Mason (lower body) is slated to back up Ray Emery on Tuesday against the Coyotes, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Mason, who has missed the last six games with a knee injury, is thus presumably a candidate to draw the start in net for the Flyers on Thursday against the Jets, barring any setbacks.

Mason (lower body) may be available for Tuesday's game against the Coyotes, CSN Philadelphia reports. Mason has been practicing on his own, and while it sounds like he's no better than questionable for Tuesday, he's still expected back by the end of the week.

Mason (lower body) did not practice Monday, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. That said, the report notes that GM Ron Hextall expects Mason to play at some point this week, which puts the goalie in the day-to-day category following the NHL All-Star break.

Mason, who has yet to resume skating, is expected to continue to rehab his lower body injury Thursday, philly.com reports. At this stage, it's unlikely that Mason -- who has sat out the last six games -- will be ready to start for the Flyers immediately after the All-Star break. "He won't have practiced in 4 or 5 days," GM Ron Hextall said. "It's hard to believe he's going to be ready to play coming out of the break because he hasn't seen the puck."

General manager Ron Hextall indicated Mason (lower body) could miss up to two weeks. Mason's MRI Saturday showed no structural damage in his right knee after exiting Saturday's game with the lower-body injury. Still, he is expected to miss up to two weeks, and the team has recalled Rob Zepp to back up Rob Emery in his absence.

Mason underwent an MRI on Saturday, which showed no structural damage to his right knee, Tim Panaccio of CSNPhilly.com reports. Mason was forced from Saturday's game after just eight minutes, but it sounds like he avoided a serious injury, with the report suggesting he'll only miss a week of action. The Flyers have yet to confirm a timetable, but they will likely need some short-term help, perhaps opening the door for Rob Zepp to return to help out behind Ray Emery.

Mason left Saturday's start against the Bruins with a lower-body injury and will not return. The team will evaluate him further Sunday. Mason lasted just eight minutes into the first period, stopping all five shots he faced. The netminder had previously missed time with a back injury in December and required an MRI on an undisclosed ailment earlier this week, but the Flyers never considered giving him a day off after the latter injury. It's possible he might have aggravated something while hitting the ice during a save attempt Saturday, though nothing will be known for certain until the team reassesses his condition Sunday. Ray Emery replaced Mason in the net against the Bruins and would be in line for an increased workload if Mason is forced to miss extended time.
