Mason will get the start in net Thursday against the Wild, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason hasn't played very well lately, posting a 1-2-0 record with an unattractive 3.69 GAA and .889 save percentage in his last three appearances. The 27-year-old netminder will look to get back on track Thursday in a somewhat favorable matchup with a Wild club averaging just 2.37 goals per game on the road, 21st in the NHL.

Mason dropped to 7-10-5 after giving up four goals on 33 shots in San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
Mason kept his team in the game, but ultimately succumbed to a late push by a Sharks squad that outshot his Flyers 33-19. Philadelphia has the least effective offense in the Eastern Conference, so it's hardly surprising that wins have been hard to come by for Mason. There's not much to like about the 27-year-old this season, as his 2.85 GAA and .910 save percentage are by far his worst marks since joining the Flyers via trade during the 2012-13 campaign.

Mason will replace Michael Neuvirth (illness) in goal for Wednesday's game against the Sharks, CSN's Tim Panaccio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason was set to get a night off Wednesday, but he was a late addition to the lineup with Neuvirth under the weather. Mason will look to get back on track after giving up four goals in a loss to the Ducks in his last start.

Mason allowed four goal on 37 shots in Sunday's loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Not the best night for Mason, who was beaten twice on the power play after the Flyers got into penalty trouble. Mason falls to 7-9-5 on the season with a .912 save percentage. The 27-year-old had been on a roll prior to Sunday, so we wouldn't worry too much about the loss. Mason is capable of stealing a game and is a solid fantasy play whenever he gets the nod.

Mason led the Flyers onto the ice for warmups before Sunday's game in Anaheim, according to Ducks broadcaster Phil Hulett.
EDGE Analysis
Mason and John Gibson will square off in a battle of two teams that rank 29th (Philadelphia) and 30th (Anaheim) in goals per game this season. Even though the Flyers have been much better the past couple weeks, Mason's season is still shaping up as a major disappointment.

Mason allowed three goals on 29 shots but came away the winner as the Flyers downed the Blues 4-3 on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
If someone told you that Mason would have just seven wins by Christmas, would you have believed them? That's indeed the case, as he now owns a 7-8-5 record through 21 appearances, due in part to his mediocre .913 save percentage and equally-disappointing 2.72 GAA. Michal Neuvirth -- who was expected to be a distant backup to Mason -- has been far-and-away the better netminder this year. In fact, in 16 appearances, Neuvirth has earned the best save percentage in the entire NHL (.937) to go with a sixth-best 2.06 GAA and three shutouts. The Flyers have been playing better lately, but it'll be interesting to see how the goaltending situation shakes out heading into the new year.

Mason will start in net Monday against the Blues, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason will make his third consecutive start between the pipes for the Flyers, and for good reason given his performances in the last two. He took the overtime loss Saturday despite stopping 35 of the 37 shots he faced, but will look for a better result Monday against the Blues, who've struggled to light the lamp at home this season.

Mason made 35 saves in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
Ugh. It's not like he performed poorly; it's just that Mason can't catch a break. He has just one win in his last four starts. You just can't rely on Mason in your blue paint right now.

Mason will be in the crease in Saturday's game against the Blue Jackets, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason was perfect in his last outing, stopping all 36 shots he faced en route to a 2-0 shutout victory over the Canucks on Thursday. He'll look to keep rolling Saturday in a matchup with a Columbus club that hasn't been great offensively this season, averaging 2.44 goals per game, 21st in the NHL.

Mason got back in the blue paint Thursday after a three-game layoff and delivered a 36-save shutout against the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Even with how bad he's been this year, Mason now has a pair of shutouts over his last five starts, though they've been spread over nearly three weeks and he had a couple rough ones in that interim. Indeed, Michael Neuvirth had started the Flyers' last three games after relieving Mason in his Dec. 8 outing. The nominal backup, Neuvirth's been making the No. 1 man look pretty bad this year, posting far better stats while drawing a surprisingly big share of the starts. This much-needed dominant effort should help Mason retain at least a temporary hold on the No. 1 role, though.
