Mason stopped 32 of the 35 shots he faced in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
The loss was Mason's second in a row after stringing together three straight wins prior to that. He's now 10-11-6 on the season with a .915 save percentage and a 2.67 GAA.

Mason will start in goal Tuesday night against the visiting Maple Leafs, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
No surprise here, as fellow goalie Michal Neuvirth worked the Flyers' last game Sunday against Detroit and it lasted through the shootout. As originally noted by Carchidi, this will be Mason's fifth start in the past six games. He's been a beast in January, posting a .940 save percentage with three wins (including one in overtime) in four showings.

Mason stopped 29 of 31 Rangers shots in a shootout loss Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a very nice run for Mason, who is doing a fine job keeping the team competitive. He's been at a .935 save percentage or higher in each of his last three starts, including one shutout.

Mason will be the home starter for Saturday's matinee against the Rangers, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philly reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason has been reborn in 2016, having gone undefeated after three starts to complement a 1.63 GAA and .942 save percentage. Better yet, he's already stunned the Rangers twice this season and that's backed by a minuscule GAA of 0.96.

Mason stopped 30 of the 32 shots he faced in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Mason's strong effort got him back to .500 on the season, as he now sports a symmetric 10-10-5 record. Wins have been hard to come by playing behind Philadelphia's 28th-ranked offense, but Mason has taken advantage of the team's recent scoring surge by going 3-0-0 in his last three starts while receiving 11 goals of support.

Mason will start in goal Wednesday against the Bruins, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason was the expected starter after leaving the ice first during Wednesday's morning skate, and that's indeed the case. He'll look to keep things rolling after winning back-to-back starts the last two games against the Islanders and Wild. He'll need to be up to the task, however, as the veteran netminder will take on a Bruins club that ranks fourth in scoring on the road this season at 3.11 goals per game.

Mason was the first goalie off the ice Wednesday, meaning he will probably start against the Bruins, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason snagged back-to-back wins his last two times in goal, but will be tested by a Bruins team averaging almost three goals per game. The 27-year-old will want to put the opening half of the season behind, registering a 2.72 GAA and just nine wins in 25 contests. In his earlier matchup with the Bruins this year, the netminder came away with a win, stopping 16 of 18 shots.

Mason was perfect Saturday afternoon, turning aside all 20 shots in a 4-0 shutout over the visiting Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
After sitting out the first two games of the new year in favour of Michal Neuvirth, Mason has impressed with a tough road win over Minnesota and Saturday's aforementioned goose egg against John Tavares and the Isles. He's now 9-10-5 with a .913 save percentage and 2.72 GAA -- numbers that are remarkably close to his career marks of .910 and 2.71, so it's been business as usual for the 27-year-old.

Mason will start in goal, at home, for Saturday's matinee against the Islanders, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason spun a shutout against the Rangers the last time he was put to work in a day game. But for those of you operating with the "What have you done for me lately?" mentality, consider that opposing teams have found it easy to solve Mason as the 6-foot-4 backstop has yielded 16 goals over the past five games. Currently, the Islanders are eight points ahead of the Flyers in the Metropolitan Division, and the team will be counting heavily on Mason with prize rookie defenseman Shane Gostisbehere (lower body) out of the lineup.

Mason stopped 31 of 34 shots to come away with a 4-3 overtime victory in Minnesota on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Mason's first start in more than a week proved far more fruitful than the three preceding it, as he'd failed to clear a .900 save mark in any of those games. He also overcame Zach Parise's game-tying goal in the latter half of the third period -- the kind of tally that's spelled disaster for the Flyers more than once this year. Michael Neuvirth's played so well this year that this situation has been trending in the direction of a 50-50 timeshare, so Mason will need to put up more starts like this one pretty much every time out to keep whatever grip remains on his starting role.
