Mason stopped 27 of 30 shots in Sunday's loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
It was a decent showing from Mason, but he was ultimately outdueled by Henrik Lundqvist. Mason drops to 13-15-7 on the season with a .917 save percentage. The 27-year-old has put up some strong performances of late, but the Flyers are struggling as a team, so the former Blue Jacket has picked up losses in three of his last four appearances. Mason has some decent rate stats, but with the team in front of him, you can't expect big win totals.

Mason will guard the net Sunday against the Rangers, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
After getting the night off Saturday, Mason will return between the pipes Sunday coming off a spectacular performance against Buffalo in which he set aside 41 of the 42 shots sent his way. It's been a bit of a bumpy ride for the 27-year-old netminder (13-14-7 season record), and he'll face another tough task Sunday as Mason presumably will match up against one of the league's top netminders in Henrik Lundqvist and a Rangers club having won four of their last five games.

Mason stifled the Sabres on Thursday, stopping 41 of 42 shots en route to a 5-1 win.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers got outplayed badly in every period of this game but the middle one, so most of the credit for this one has to go to Mason. Philadelphia was outshot 14-6 in the first frame and 18-8 in the third, but Mason held the fort both times and took advantage of his team's four-goal second period to end his three-game losing streak. Mase still has a losing record on the year, having taken home only 13 wins in 34 starts, thanks to a Flyers offense that's rarely delivered the kind of energetic offensive performance we saw in this one.

Mason will start in net Thursday night against the visiting Sabres, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Michal Neuvirth still dealing with a lower-body ailment, the Flyers have been reluctant to play 22-year-old Anthony Stolarz, who was called up from the minors last week. As a result, Mason is set to make his sixth consecutive start between the pipes. He'll face a Sabres team that averages 2.30 goals per game, third worst in the NHL.

Mason was tagged with his third consecutive loss and sixth in eight starts Tuesday, giving up three goals on 25 shots en route to a a 4-1 defeat against the visiting Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Few of the losses in this run of futility have been Mason's fault -- his team's typically only provided one or two goals of offense in those games -- but it seems the hard times are getting to him, as he's been a little off his game over the last couple. Still, this three-game skid came against the NHL's best team, the Caps, and red-hot Rangers and Ducks squads; the Sabres come to town Thursday offering a far better matchup.

Mason will start in goal Tuesday night versus the visiting Ducks, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason draws into the crease for his fifth consecutive start as complementary puck stopper Michal Neuvirth is said to be making progress from a lower-body injury, but evidently not quite ready to return. Formerly the bottom dwellers of the Pacific Division, the Ducks have gone 8-2-0 in their past 10 games with 20 goals in the last five, so this could be a deceptively tough matchup for Mason. The 27-year-old has a 2.69 GAA and .916 save percentage through 33 games in 2015-16.

Mason will likely get a fifth consecutive start Tuesday against the Ducks, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Michael Neuvirth (lower body) still unavailable, Mason is getting even more work than usual. Tuesday's opponent ranks last in the NHL in goals per game (2.2), but few teams have played better than Anaheim over the past three or four weeks.

Mason stopped 27 of 30 shots in Sunday's loss to the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Mason looked strong out of the gate, posting a shutout through the first 35 minutes of action, but faltered a bit en route to conceding three goals in a 10 minute span. The 27-year-old was responsible for both losses of the weekend's back-to-back set, dropping his record to 12-13-7 on the year.

Mason has received the starting nod for Sunday's matinee against Washington, Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sunday will be the second of back-to-back starts for Mason, who will likely see an increased workload while Michal Neuvirth is out with a lower-body injury. Both the Flyers and Capitals played Saturday, so Sunday's game could be a cautious, defense first contest that would be favorable to Mason's stat line.

Mason took a shootout loss to the Rangers on Saturday after stopping 26 of 28 shots in regulation.
EDGE Analysis
Mason was perfect through the first two periods but ended up allowing a game-tying goal to Rangers defenseman Keith Yandle with just 13 seconds remaining in regulation. The 27-year-old would go on to fail the shootout test, allowing forwards Mats Zuccarello and Derek Stepan to put the puck behind him. Despite the unfortunate ending, Mason can take pride in the fact that he helped deny two power-play opportunities en route to a robust .929 save percentage. His record now stands at 12-12-7.
