Mason dropped to 7-10-5 after giving up four goals on 33 shots in San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
Mason kept his team in the game, but ultimately succumbed to a late push by a Sharks squad that outshot his Flyers 33-19. Philadelphia has the least effective offense in the Eastern Conference, so it's hardly surprising that wins have been hard to come by for Mason. There's not much to like about the 27-year-old this season, as his 2.85 GAA and .910 save percentage are by far his worst marks since joining the Flyers via trade during the 2012-13 campaign.
