Allen, who picked up his fifth win in a row Friday night against the Ducks, will start again Saturday against the Stars, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Blues fan or not, you've got to respect Allen's success in front of the home crowd, as he's posted a 12-8-1 record, 1.98 GAA and .925 save percentage in St. Louis this season.

Allen is expected to start in net Friday against the Ducks, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. It will be his eighth straight start.

Allen will start in goal Wednesday against the Blackhawks.

With fellow netminder Brian Eliott (lower body) still sidelined, the Blues continue to roll with Allen between the pipes, and he's responded with some nice efforts of late (three straight victories). He will draw another tough matchup Wednesday with the Blackhawks, but his home splits are outstanding (1.99 GAA, .924 save percentage), giving him (and the Blues) a chance to win in St. Louis on any given night, regardless of the opponent.

Allen halted 40 of 43 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Senators. The netminder also didn't allow a goal on ten shots in the shootout.

Allen came up huge in the lengthy shootout, securing his second straight win after losing seven in a row dating back to Dec. 31. The 25-year-old came back from a knee injury in terrible fashion, but seems to have turned a corner as of late, saving 72 total shots in his past two games.
