Allen allowed four goals on 38 shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win against Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
Allen really struggled when he returned from a knee injury, losing the first three starts. However, the netminder has managed to turn it around and win six straight, posting an admirable .929 save percentage in that span. The 25-year-old has also reached 30-plus saves in five of those outings, and if he wasn't already there, Allen is at must-start status until further notice.

Allen stopped 33 of 35 shots en route to a 3-2 shootout victory over the visiting Blackhawks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Allen is now riding a nice four-game win streak, something that required him to outlast Corey Crawford into the 12th round of the shootout in this one. He's been an absolute beast during the streak, as well, making no less than 32 saves in each outing. Through 40 appearances this year, the 25-year-old now owns a tidy 22-13-3 record with a 2.24 GAA and a .923 save percentage.

Allen will start in goal Wednesday against the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
With fellow netminder Brian Eliott (lower body) still sidelined, the Blues continue to roll with Allen between the pipes, and he's responded with some nice efforts of late (three straight victories). He will draw another tough matchup Wednesday with the Blackhawks, but his home splits are outstanding (1.99 GAA, .924 save percentage), giving him (and the Blues) a chance to win in St. Louis on any given night, regardless of the opponent.

Allen will work between the pipes Sunday night against host Minnesota, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has been quite generous away from St. Louis of late. Over his last three road games combined, the 25-year-old has coughed up nine goals on 100 shots which equates to a 3.37 GAA. However, the Blues managed to back him up with two wins in that short span. He'll face a Wild team that could be a bit tired after squaring off against the Sabres on Saturday afternoon.

Allen halted 40 of 43 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Senators. The netminder also didn't allow a goal on ten shots in the shootout.
EDGE Analysis
Allen came up huge in the lengthy shootout, securing his second straight win after losing seven in a row dating back to Dec. 31. The 25-year-old came back from a knee injury in terrible fashion, but seems to have turned a corner as of late, saving 72 total shots in his past two games. Keep an eye on the netminder's next chance to start -- Sunday against Minnesota -- to see if he's truly on an upward swing.
