Coach Ken Hitchcock has named Allen the starter for Monday's Game 5 matchup with the Sharks.

Allen performed well in his Game 4 start, stopping 31 of the 34 shots he faced. Unless he implodes, it appears the Blues will continue running with the younger of the two netminders moving forward. The 25-year-old netminder will look to assist the Blues in grabbing a second straight win to take a 3-2 series league when they go back to San Jose but the Blues have surprisingly played much better on the road this postseason.
