Allen was perfect in relief Monday in Game 6, turning aside all seven shots in a 3-2 loss to Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
After starter Brian Elliott was roasted for three goals on a paltry seven shots in the first period, Allen was summoned to take over by head coach Ken Hitchcock. It's hard to believe he only faced seven shots in 41:24 of game action, but that just speaks to how hard the Blues clamped down after a disastrous opening frame. This was Allen's first appearance in the 2016 playoffs since Brian Elliott has been mostly spectacular thus far in knocking off the Blackhawks and beating Dallas three times. That said, Hitchcock stated that he'll "sleep on it" when it comes to appointing a netminder for Game 7, so stay tuned for further details in advance of Wednesday night's deciding game back in Texas.

Allen (lower body) said that he will be available for Wednesday's playoff opener against the Blackhawks, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fellow goalie Brian Elliott will start Game 1 of the team's upcoming playoff series, but coach Ken Hitchcock noted Monday that if the Blues make an extended run in the postseason, they'll likely need both goalies. Still, Allen's a speculative option in most playoff pools at this stage, though he could resurface on the Daily Fantasy radar as the playoffs roll along.

Coach Ken Hitchcock noted Monday that Allen (lower body) "looks like he's 100 percent to go."
EDGE Analysis
While that bodes well for Allen's chances of suiting up for Wednesday's playoff opener against Chicago, it has already been announced that fellow goalie Brian Elliott will start in net for the Blues in that contest.

Allen (lower body) won't be re-evaluated until after the regular season ends.
EDGE Analysis
With the news, Allen will finish the campaign having posted a 26-15-3 record, 2.35 GAA and .920 save percentage over 47 appearances. The Blues will likely turn to Brian Elliott for the majority (if not all) of the three remaining regular season games, but Allen could return to the mix in the playoffs if he's able to get healthy.

Allen left Sunday's game against Colorado after the first period with an undisclosed injury.
EDGE Analysis
Allen stopped all 11 shots he faced as the Blues jump out to a 3-0 lead, but Anders Nilsson came on for the start of the second period. Regardless of Allen's status, Brian Elliott seems like the best bet to start Monday's game against the Coyotes.

Allen will look to protect the net as Sunday's road starter against the Avalanche, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Blues excel on special teams, ranking fourth on the man advantage and third on the penalty kill. There's no doubt this has contributed positively to Allen's respectable peripheral stats which include a 2.36 GAA and .919 save percentage. But if this game happens to go into a shootout, he'll have to watch out, as the Avs are undefeated in such a scenario.

Allen blanked the Caps Saturday, stopping 32 shots en route to a 4-0 win.
EDGE Analysis
Allen bounced back from two consecutive disappointing efforts, shutting down the best team in the NHL for his sixth shutout of the year. The netminder came into Saturday sporting a .787 save percentage in his last two, giving up nine goals in the process (both losses). The 25-year-old will look to build another win streak down the stretch after picking up his 25th victory of the season.

Allen will be in the crease in Saturday's road game against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Allen was terrible in his last start March 16 against the Oilers, surrendering five goals on 26 shots en route to a 6-4 loss. The 25-year-old netminder will look to bounce back Saturday in a highly unfavorable road matchup with a Washington club averaging an impressive 3.25 goals per game at home this season, second in the NHL.

Allen was beaten five times on 26 shots in Wednesday's 6-4 road defeat at the hands of the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old goalie has already cleared his career high in games played, and it seems like he might be starting to flag -- Allen's given up 13 goals in his last three starts, all on the road. That's quite the change of pace from the stretch of five outstanding games he posted immediately preceding this slump. The Blues seem reluctant to use backup Anders Nilsson, but Allen may be forcing their hand right now. On the bright side, they don't play again until Saturday, so he'll have a couple days to rest up.

EDGE Analysis
Allen will look to bounce back after being pulled from Monday's game against the Flames after allowing four goals on 17 shots. Over their last four games, the Oilers are 1-3, while having scored just four goals in that span, setting Allen up with what looks like a nice matchup Wednesday.
