Allen will start in net Tuesday night against the Senators, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be Allen's fourth start in six days and first this season against Ottawa. Since returning from a knee injury Feb. 22, Allen is 1-3 with an .897 save percentage.

Allen picked up the win, stopping 32 of 34 shots in Sunday's 5-2 victory over the Hurricanes. The win snapped a seven-game losing streak for Allen.
EDGE Analysis
It was looking pretty shaky early on for Allen, who had allowed two goals in the first seven shots. This, after he was pulled from Saturday's game and had an .873 save percentage in his first four games back from injury. But he was able to stop the final 27 and earned his first win since Dec. 29.

Allen will defend the crease Sunday against the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Allen hasn't had much success since returning from injured reserve to take over the primary netminder role following Brian Elliott's lower-body injury, but the Blues will likely continue turning his way down the stretch for the most part. Coming off three straight losses, he'll look to turn things around Sunday against a Hurricanes club that will be without Eric Staal following the news that he's headed to the Rangers.

Allen allowed four goals on 23 shots before being pulled in the second period in a 5-0 loss to Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Allen had his worst outing since returning from injury, and Blues' fans are certainly wishing Brian Elliott was healthy. The netminder has allowed eight goals in three appearances, posting a worrisome .873 save percentage in the process. Avoid the 25-year-old like the plague until he proves competent between the pipes.

Allen has led his team out for warmups Saturday, indicating that he'll be the road starter against the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Allen returned from a knee injury this past Monday but still can't buy a win. In fact, Allen hasn't been able to raise his hands in triumph in six appearances, with Dec. 29 counting as his last victory. He's turned in an uninspiring 2.69 GAA and .903 save percentage over that rough patch.

Allen turned away 21 of 23 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Rangers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Allen received his first start since sustaining a knee injury on Jan. 8, and while the netminder didn't pick up a win, he's shaking off the rust rather quickly. The 25-year-old is sitting at a 2.17 GAA on the year, allowing four goals in two games since his return. The former second-round pick's last victory was back on Dec. 29, but expect that to change sooner rather than later, especially as he gets more comfortable between the pipes.

Allen will start Thursday against the Rangers, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen, recently activated off injured reserve, was pressed into duty earlier than expected Monday night when he replaced an injured Brian Elliott (lower body) and was the goalie of record in a 6-3 loss to San Jose. Elliott will miss at least a month, so Allen will have to ramp up quickly and sustain after missing 17 games.

Allen stopped 15 of 17 shots in Monday's loss to the Sharks after entering midway through the first period.
EDGE Analysis
Brian Elliott allowed three goals early on and reportedly suffered a lower-body injury, clearing the way for Allen to make his first appearance since Jan. 8. The 25-year-old figures to more or less split time, but he should see the vast majority of the starts should Elliott miss any extended time.

Allen entered Monday night's game against the Sharks after Brian Elliott left with a lower-body injury, according to Jeff Gordon of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
EDGE Analysis
This is a bit earlier than the Blues had planned to have Allen, who was activated off injured reserve Sunday, on ice. Elliott, who will be evaluated Tuesday, is considered day-to-day for Thursday's game against the Rangers.

Allen, who was activated off injured reserve Sunday, will be evaluated in practice Tuesday and could start in one of the back-to-back games this weekend in Nashville or Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Allen sustained a lower-body injury Jan. 8 and missed 17 games while on rehab. In that time, Brian Elliott took control of the job, surging to the top of the NHL in goals-against average (2.06) and save percentage (.931). Allen had been the clear number one goalie prior to his injury, but Elliott has made the case to be an equal partner at the very least.
