Frederik Andersen's lower body injury was a sprained MCL. Andersen was close to recovering when the Ducks were eliminated, so he might have been available for the Western Conference Final. He might end up competing with John Gibson for the starting job in 2014-15, but we wouldn't rule out the possibility of the Ducks signing a veteran goaltender to a short-term contract.
