Andersen will be in the net Sunday against the Canucks, Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Andersen will draw his second of would could be a lengthy streak of consecutive starts, as new backup Jason LaBarbera doesn't represent nearly the threat for starts that the injured John Gibson (groin) was. The 25-year-old Andersen was solid in his return to the net Friday after a two-game absence, holding the Coyotes to two goals on 25 shots in a shootout loss.

Andersen allowed two goals on 25 shots before falling 3-2 in a shootout to the Coyotes on Friday.
This was Andersen's first non-regulation loss of the year. He was simply outdueled by Coyotes' goalie Mike Smith in this one, who showcased a 37-save effort. Still, Andersen owns an amazing 7-1-1 record and should remain one of the league's best fantasy options between the net for the near future -- especially without the threat of John Gibson (groin) cutting into his starts for at least the next six weeks.

Andersen will man the net Friday against the Coyotes, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Andersen was limited to backup duties in the Ducks' previous game as a precaution coming off a leg injury, but he should be functioning at full strength in his return to the net. The 24-year-old has been outstanding in eight starts this season, going 7-1 with a 1.60 GAA and .941 save percentage.

Andersen is expected to make the start in goal Friday against the Coyotes, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Andersen served as the backup to Jason LaBarbera in Wednesday's loss to the Islanders, but that seemed to be just as a precaution after he recently dealt with leg tightness. He was able to complete another full practice Thursday without the injury resurfacing, so expect Andersen to be confirmed as Friday's starter following the Ducks' skate that morning.

Andersen will serve as the backup goalie for Wednesday's game against the Islanders, after Jason LaBarbera led the team on the ice at pregame warmups, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Coach Bruce Boudreau declared Andersen fit to play after the team's morning skate, but it looks like he'll be eased back into action following his recent bout with leg tightness. LaBarbera will make his second straight start on Wednesday, but look for Andersen to return to the net Friday against the Coyotes.

Coach Bruce Boudreau said after the Ducks' morning skate that Andersen (leg) would be available Wednesday against the Islanders, but wouldn't commit to him as the team's starting goalie for the game, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Andersen appears to have erased most of the concern about the leg tightness he experienced over the weekend by practicing the last two days, but it's possible that the team would prefer to ease him back into action as a backup Wednesday. For what it's worth, Andersen was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, which usually indicates the starter, but Jason LaBarbera followed closely behind to muddle the picture. Don't expect a starting goalie to be officially announced for the Ducks until pregame warmups.

Andersen (leg) was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate and looks poised to make the start Wednesday against the Islanders, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Andersen's full participation in practice the last two days would seem to suggest that his scratch from Sunday's game against the Avalanche was strictly precautionary. Assuming he suffers no setbacks during pregame warmups, Andersen will be cleared to make his ninth start of the season, though it's worthwhile for his fantasy owners to check in before game time for confirmation on the matter. With journeyman Jason LaBarbera now slotting in as the backup goalie after John Gibson (groin) was ruled out for six weeks, Andersen should enjoy plenty of leash as the Ducks' No. 1 starter through at least mid-December.

Andersen (leg) was on the ice for Tuesday's practice.
Andersen, who was scratched from Sunday's game with leg tightness, didn't seem to face any limitations during the session. While the Ducks are still labeling him as day-to-day, it doesn't look like Andersen is a candidate to move to injured reserve. With backup John Gibson (groin) ruled out for six weeks and new No. 2 Jason LaBarbera an unlikely threat to make a push for regular starts, Andersen should notice a heavier workload for the Ducks once the team feels comfortable with his health. If Andersen is unable to go Wednesday against the Islanders, LaBarbera would likely be called upon to make the start.

Andersen is considered day-to-day with leg tightness.
As a result, the goaltender will not be available in reserve for Sunday night's contest. However, the injury doesn't appear to be anything that will hold him out for an extended period of time. The Ducks have recalled Jason LaBarbera from AHL Norfolk in the meantime.

Andersen stopped all but one of the Stars' 22 shots in a 2-1 OT win Friday.
Andersen was 5:27 away from his second shutout of the season before a back-door goal from Antoine Roussel knotted things up. He's been one of the best fantasy options in net this year with his 6-1 record, shiny .940 save percentage and 1.70 GAA and still has quite the advantage over John Gibson for Anaheim's starting gig.
