Andersen will get the start between the pipes Friday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Andersen lost his first game of the season in his last start Sunday, allowing four goals on 37 shots against the Sharks. He appears to still be the team's top goaltender, but John Gibson is still in the mix for starts as well.

Andersen gave up four goals on 37 shots and suffered his first loss of the season Sunday against San Jose.
Well, he had to lose at some point. It wasn't even a bad outing for the 25-year-old, who gave up two power-plays goals in a game that saw the two teams combine for 165 PIM. John Gibson may make a few starts as the season wears on, but make no mistake, Andersen is the clear No.1 goalie in Anaheim. Andersen could finish as a top fantasy goalie behind an offensively loaded Ducks team.

Andersen is expected to be back in goal for Anaheim after getting Friday night off, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Andersen who is sporting a ridiculous 6-0-0 record along with a 1.32 GAA and .951 SV% is likely to start against San Jose Sunday night. Andersen is the clear No. 1 goalie in Anaheim and as long as he stays hot he will play. John Gibson picked up a win Friday and will take some starts away, but Andersen seems to have cemented that top role. Andersen is a great option in goal and with the firepower on offense, the young netminder should see significant starts and wins throughout the season.

Andersen won again Wednesday, stopping 22 of 23 shots in a win over the visiting Sabres.
Andersen has been marvelous this season, posting an impeccable 6-0 record while recording a GAA of 1.32 to go with an equally impressive .951 save percentage. He's been the most valuable fantasy goaltender thus far in the young season and has made discussions of he and John Gibson battling for the Ducks' starting gig a thing of the past. Roll him until he falters.

Andersen was first off the ice in morning skate and is expected to start for the Ducks Wednesday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Andersen is coming off a 28-save shutout against the Blues on Monday, and hasn't lost a game yet this season (5-0-0) while posting a .950 save percentage and a 1.31 GAA. He should take the ice against the Sabres tonight in pursuit of his sixth win in a row.

Anderson made 28 saves for his first career shutout in Sunday's win over St.Louis.
With the victory, Andersen joins Ross Brooks as the only goalies in NHL history to win 25 (or more) of his first 30 NHL decisions. Andersen is now 5-0-0 to start the season with a .950 save percentage and 1.31 GAA. You can't do much better right now, as Andersen is playing lights out behind a red-hot Anaheim team.

Andersen will be the starting goaltender in Sunday's game against the Blues, according to Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register.
Andersen, who owns a nifty 1.72 GAA, will be looking for his fifth consecutive victory to start the season. He will take on an inconsistent Blues squad that has scored 10 goals in its two victories this season, but just two goals in its two defeats.

Andersen stopped 27 of 28 shots in Friday's 2-1 victory over the Wild.
The stellar performance and a late rally by his offense allowed Andersen to improve his record to 4-0 on the campaign and an incredible 24-5-0 during his brief career. The young goalie has allowed no more than three goals in any of his four starts this season, solidifying his stranglehold on the No. 1 job.

Andersen will get the start for Friday's home opener against the Wild, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
The banishment of John Gibson to AHL Norfolk for the weekend signals that Andersen is the clear No. 1 goalie in Anaheim, at least for now. He's certainly earned that distinction with the numbers he's put up in his three starts, during which he's gone 3-0-0 with a 1.95 GAA and .928 save percentage. So long as he can play well enough to hold off Gibson for regular duty, Andersen should at least be an average to above-average fantasy option in goal, with a strong Ducks team likely guiding him to wins in the majority of the games he starts.

Andersen saved 39 of 42 shots through 65 minutes, then stopped three of four shootout attempts to come away with a 4-3 victory Tuesday against the Flyers.
Andersen has been absolute money in the bank early on for the Ducks, delivering terrific ratios in all three of his starts, which have all come on the road. Not only is he better than John Gibson, he's actually got a chance to be one of the better netminders in the league this year, and behind a Ducks offense that's going to give him plenty of support.
