Kreider and the Rangers had their scheduled game Friday against the Sabres postponed due to the extreme weather conditions in the Buffalo area, Andrew Gross of the Bergen Record reports.
With some parts of the region receiving up to six feet of snow this week, traveling to Buffalo would have proven quite treacherous for the Rangers had the game been played as scheduled. No make-up date has been announced yet for the game, but expect Kreider to be in the lineup for the Rangers' next contest Sunday versus Montreal.

Kreider extended his current point streak to three games and four points (two goals, two assists) with a goal and an assist in Saturday's loss to Toronto.
He's coming off a season where he potted 37 points in 66 games, so there's been no letdown in his game. He actually has 10 points in 13 games so far this season, so he's a solid play in deep formats.

Kreider is not expected to face any additional discipline for his hit on Minnesota's Jonas Brodin on Monday night, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports.
Kreider was assessed a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct for the hit, and it appears that will be the extent of his punishment this time around. However, Kreider has already received several major penalties early this season, and he could face a suspension next time he finds himself in a similar situation.

Kreider was ejected for a hit on Minnesota's Jonas Brodin near the end of the first period of Monday's 5-4 win.
While the hit was much more incidental than teammate John Moore's hit on Erik Haula, Kreider still gave Brodin a dangerous shove as the two neared the center boards at a decent speed for puck possession. Since Kreider is beginning to earn a reputation as a bit reckless with size, it's very possible he could receive a one-to-two game suspension from new discipline czar Stephane Quintal. The 23-year-old first line winger has six points (two goals) and is a plus-4 with 38 penalty minutes through nine games played this season.

Kreider scored the opening power-play goal, set up Kevin Klein's overtime winner, went plus-2 and collected four penalty minutes Tuesday against the Devils.
An explosive day for Kreider, who filled up the stat sheet in conventional formats. He's been progressively improving during his time in the league, and with six points in seven games to start this season, it looks like he could be in for a big scoring spike.

Kreider got an instigator penalty, a fighting major and a misconduct for challenging Jack Skille of Columbus to a fight after Skille landed a blind hit on Kreider's teammate, Mats Zuccarello in Saturday's game.
Zucc had just come on the ice and in honesty, it seemed like Skille didn't see him and ended up clipping him. The game had already been chippy and this was another in-game escalation. There is a possibility of a suspension here, so you may lose Kreider for a game or two. Watch and wait.

Kreider picked up an assist and scored a gorgeous breakaway goal in Thursday's season-opening win over the Blues.
The goal was truly a thing of beauty, as he used his speed to get away, then simply dominated Brian Elliott to put the puck home, but his hard work that resulted in Rick Nash's first goal of the game was just as impressive. Kreider put up 37 points last year, but has the potential for 50 or even 60 this year if he can stick on the top line with Nash and Martin St. Louis.
