Kreider logged an assist in Wednesday's 3-1 win over Washington. The third year forward also logged four shots on goal in just under 18-minutes of total ice time in the win. The point snaps a light three-game point streak for Kreider whose 17 goals and 35 points through 64 games is just two points shy of tying his career-high 37 points through 66 games last year.

Kreider scored a pair of power-play goals -- both game-tying tallies at the time -- in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Coyotes. The first one was relatively easy, with Kreider finishing off a beautiful passing play by Mats Zuccarello and Kevin Hayes. But the second one was all him, as Kreider took advantage of a misplayed puck to race down the ice, put a shot on goal, then knock his own rebound past Mike Smith to even the game at 3-3. He'd gone four straight games without finding the scoresheet, so it's nice to see Kreider get back on the horse in a big way. He's going to easily surpass last season's numbers, but fantasy owners should be more excited about the possibilities of next year.

Kreider, who missed Monday's practice with an illness, was back on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate, Andrew Gross of The Record reports. Kreider's participation likely ensures that he'll be in the lineup as the Rangers kick off the second half in a matchup with the Islanders. Expect him to skate on the second line with Derek Stepan and Martin St. Louis.

Kreider scored his 10th goal of the year Tuesday in an overtime win against the Senators. He fired a season-high-tying seven shots on goal, went plus-1 and took a minor penalty. Kreider now has points in three straight, with two goals and two assists in that span, and he's got nine points in his last 10 games. It's been a process, but his game is developing, and the 23-year-old should only continue getting better.

Kreider dished out two assists in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Penguins. With the multi-point effort, Kreider now has three points in his last two contests and five in the last five. The 23-year-old has had trouble at times finding some sort of consistency, but with 23 points through 41 games, he should still eclipse the 40-point mark for the first time in his young career.

Kreider scored the game-winning goal and was a plus-3 in Friday's win over the Blue Jackets. You can say this guy is sort of clutch, as this was Kreider's third game-winner this season. With two goals in his last four games, the 23-year-old now has nine goals and 21 points in 40 games on the season, to go with a plus-11 rating. With a whopping 69 PIM, four power-play goals, and a healthy 84 shots on goal, the second-liner is a decent all-around fantasy play in most deep leagues. While he's been inconsistent, Kreider should still deliver 20 goals and 40 points in 2014-15.
