Chris Kreider (hand surgery) skated hard in practice on Saturday but is still unable to shoot the puck. Kreider was shooting one handed on Friday but did not even do that on Saturday. He suffered the broken hand on March 24 but there is no timetable for his return to action at this time.

Chris Kreider skated on Tuesday for the first time since he suffered a hand injury. Kreider has been out for six consecutive contests. As is normal in the NHL, the Rangers are getting increasingly reluctant to provide injury updates as we get closer to the playoffs. With that in mind, they didn't provide a timetable for Kreider's return.

Chris Kreider (hand) was able to work out but did not participate in the Rangers' skate on Monday. Kreider suffered a broken hand on March 24 and is hoping to be able to return for the start of the playoffs but that is not looking great at this time. He has 17 goals and 37 points in 66 games this season. Expect a lot more from him next year as he could get 25 goals and 50 points.

Chris Kreider, the Rangers' first-line left wing, will be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season and for at least the start of a potential first-round playoff series after undergoing left hand surgery Friday morning at the Hospital of Special Services in Manhattan. Martin St. Louis, who has not scored in 12 games since joining the Rangers at the March 7 trade deadline, has moved up to fill Kreider's spot on the top line with Rick Nash and Derek Stepan while J.T. Miller has joined the lineup following his recall on Wednesday from the AHL Wolf Pack.

The New York Rangers aren't ready to confirm or deny the report that Chris Kreider has a broken bone in his hand. The Rangers plan to offer more details about the severity of Kreider's hand injury in the coming days, but what we know for certain is that he won't play Wednesday. Kreider will also stay in New York while his teammates kick off a four-game road trip in Calgary on Friday.

Chris Kreider suffered a serious injury to his hand on Monday night and will be sidelined for at least the rest of the regular season and possibly longer. Bob McKenzie suggests it might be a broken bone in the hand. Regardless, it appears the 22 year-old's season is over if the Rangers don't make it through the first round of the playoffs. The big sophomore winger was having a solid season with 17 goals and 37 points through 66 games.

Chris Kreider scored for the Rangers in their 4-2 win over the Jets on Friday night. Kreider has three goals over his last four games, but more notably, he was back with center Derek Stepan after spending a game with Brad Richards, and he looked more comfortable. The 22-year-old has 17 goals and 18 helpers this season.

New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider scored two goals in his team's 3-0 win against the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday. Kreider is generally a nice source of shots, PIM and hits, but it's always a bonus when he can score goals and/or assists. Ryan McDonagh is having a hot streak of his own, as he has points in four straight games (3G, 2A for 5P).
