Kreider scored his team-leading 14th goal in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Jets on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

The 27-year-old winger has 22 points in 28 games this season. Kreider's goal near the end of the second period gave New York a 3-0 lead that it would subsequently give up in the game's final frame. Meanwhile, the big, speedy winger is now halfway to his career high in goals for a season and should easily surpass 28 goals if he continues at this pace.

Kreider stuffed the stat sheet in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Islanders, with a goal, an assist, five shots and a plus-3 rating.

EDGE Analysis

He added three blocked shots and four hits as well. Kreider's up to 12 goals and 20 points in 22 games, as new coach David Quinn is getting the most out of the speedy power forward's skill set. Eight of Kreider's 12 goals have come in the past 11 games.

Kreider potted a pair of power-play goals in Thursday's 7-5 loss to the Islanders.

EDGE Analysis

While Kreider's team didn't get the result it was hoping for, he celebrated his 400th career NHL game in style. His two goals give the power forward six in the past eight games. The Rangers may try to move him if they fall out of contention, but Kreider's combination of size and speed should allow him to deliver decent fantasy production in any system.

Kreider scored a goal and added an assist Tuesday in a 5-3 win over the Canadiens.

EDGE Analysis

Kreider, now with seven goals and 11 points in 15 games this season, has enjoyed a quality start to 2018-19 after a disappointing campaign a year ago. Tuesday's multi-point performance was his fourth of the young campaign and despite his team's ongoing struggles, the 27-year-old speedster remains a worthwhile fantasy option most nights.

Kreider registered a power-play goal among six shots as well as an assist in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime road loss to the Capitals.

EDGE Analysis

New York's top line had an easy time slicing through the attacking zone, as Kreider, Mike Zibanejad and Jesper Fast combined for 15 shots in this tightly contested Metropolitan Division clash. Kreider now has goals in back-to-back games and six total points on the young season.

Kreider lit the lamp twice in Sunday's 8-5 loss to Carolina.

EDGE Analysis

Kreider picked up his first two points of the season, albeit in a losing effort. The speedster is coming off a disappointing 2017-18 season that saw him finish with 44 points in an injury-shortened season that limited him to 58 games. The Rangers don't profile as an upper-echelon team, however, that shouldn't stop Kreider from having a bounce-back season, assuming he can remain healthy.

Kreider will participate in the 2018 IIHF World Championship next month, USA Hockey reports.

EDGE Analysis

Kreider potted 16 goals to supplement 21 assists through 58 games this season, marking the second-best points-per-game pace of his career. Unfortunately, his fantasy value took a hit as he needed time off to treat a blood clot in his right arm and also went under the knife to resect his rib. The Massachusetts native has two years left on his contract with the Rangers before he'll be able to hit the open market as an unrestricted free agent, and there's reason to believe that his numbers will suffer as the Blueshirts enter a rebuilding phase.

Kreider scored a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Sabres.

EDGE Analysis

The helper came on the power play, while Kreider also added two shots, two PIM and a plus-1 rating to his ledger. The 26-year-old has hit the scoresheet in five straight games, racking up three goals and 10 points during that stretch with five of those points (two goals, three assists) coming with the man advantage. An upper-body injury cost Kreider 24 games this season and have hurt his totals, but if he stays hot down the stretch he should still be able to record his fourth straight 40-point campaign.

Kreider scored a goal and three assists while adding three shots, one blocked shot, one hit and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Penguins.

EDGE Analysis

The goal and one of the helpers came on the power play, and Kreider now has 13 goals and 30 points in 47 games on the season. After being sidelined through all of January and most of February with an upper-body injury he seems fully recovered now, recording two goals and eight points in his last eight contests.

Kreider (undisclosed) will be back for Saturday's road game against the Panthers, Brett Cyrgalis of the New York Post reports.

EDGE Analysis

Kreider reportedly is set for top-line duty opposite Jesper Fast, and he'll be centered by two-way Swede Mikka Zibanejad. Such an arrangement obviously comes with power-play ice time as well, but it's been tough sledding for Kreider, who was originally selected 19th overall by the Rangers in the 2009 draft. He's only compiled 12 goals and 13 assists (seven points on the man advantage) through 44 games. We'd like to give the American winger the benefit of the doubt given his impressive track record, but the Rangers don't have anything to play for but pride at this point so we recommend streaming him only in matchups that appear highly favorable on paper.
