Brewers manager Ron Roenicke confirmed Tuesday that his rotation alignment will consist of Yovani Gallardo, Marco Estrada, Wily Peralta, Chris Narveson and Mike Fiers.
The order is subject to change, but Gallardo, Estrada and Peralta currently line up for the first series of the season against the Rockies. Mark Rogers' struggles this spring have made the inclusion of Narveson a foregone conclusion, though he still has a lot to prove coming off shoulder surgery.

Chris Narveson yielded two runs over four innings Friday against the Indians.
Narveson gave up seven hits and hit a batter, so he wasn't overly effective, but he managed to keep the damage to a minimum. After missing nearly all of 2012 with shoulder surgery, the 31-year-old southpaw has a 5.40 ERA and 4/1 K/BB ratio over 8 1/3 innings of work in the Cactus League. Mark Rogers has been terrible this spring, so Narveson is likely to open the season in the starting rotation.

Chris Narveson (shoulder) will start Wednesday's Cactus League game against the Royals.
Narveson is coming back from rotator cuff surgery but has been a full participant in spring training thus far. He's competing for a spot in the Brewers' rotation. "I'm more excited to see where he is in three or four outings, if he's getting his stuff locked in and whether he can be that guy that he was," manager Ron Roenicke said.

Manager Ron Roenicke said Saturday that Chris Narveson (shoulder) will not make any starts during the first week of Cactus League games.
Narveson is coming off rotator cuff surgery, so the Brewers are being cautious with him and Wily Peralta (shoulder), who reported stiffness after his first bullpen session earlier this week. Both pitchers will be eased back into spring training action and are candidates for the Opening Day rotation if they can stay healthy.

Chris Narveson (shoulder) threw his first live batting practice session of spring training Wednesday in Brewers camp.
Beat writer Tom Haudricourt notes that Narveson had good command of his pitches and showed no signs of hesitation coming off rotator cuff surgery. The 31-year-old was limited to just two starts in 2012, but should regain his spot in the Brewers' rotation if he continues to progress.

Chris Narveson told reporters Thursday morning that he is completely recovered from shoulder surgery.
Narveson threw a bullpen session in front of the Brewers' training staff on Wednesday and drew rave reviews. "It feels like you've got a new arm," he said Thursday in camp. The left-hander seems likely to claim one of the open spots in the Milwaukee starting rotation this spring.

According to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Brewers manager Ron Roenicke on Sunday "didn't sound certain" Chris Narveson (shoulder) would be ready for the start of spring training.
Narveson said at the end of last month that he would be ready to roll, but evidently his manager isn't so sure. The left-hander is working his way back from May rotator cuff surgery but has been throwing since late September. If he proves to be healthy during camp, he should be able to win a rotation spot.

Brewers and LHP Chris Narveson avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract.
Narvson missed the majority of the 2012 season due to left rotator cuff surgery. The 31-year-old southpaw is expected to be ready for spring training and should be in the Brewers' season-opening starting rotation.

Chris Narveson (shoulder) expects to be available for the start of spring training.
Narveson lasted just two starts before missing all of 2012 to injury, and is working his way back from May rotator cuff surgery. He was cleared to begin a throwing program in late September and hasn't reported any setbacks. If Narveson can stay healthy, he'll be a strong candidate for the Brewers' Opening Day rotation.
