Chris Narveson yielded two runs over four innings Friday against the Indians. Narveson gave up seven hits and hit a batter, so he wasn't overly effective, but he managed to keep the damage to a minimum. After missing nearly all of 2012 with shoulder surgery, the 31-year-old southpaw has a 5.40 ERA and 4/1 K/BB ratio over 8 1/3 innings of work in the Cactus League. Mark Rogers has been terrible this spring, so Narveson is likely to open the season in the starting rotation.
