Brewers and LHP Chris Narveson avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract. Narvson missed the majority of the 2012 season due to left rotator cuff surgery. The 31-year-old southpaw is expected to be ready for spring training and should be in the Brewers' season-opening starting rotation.
