Chris Narveson (shoulder) threw his first live batting practice session of spring training Wednesday in Brewers camp. Beat writer Tom Haudricourt notes that Narveson had good command of his pitches and showed no signs of hesitation coming off rotator cuff surgery. The 31-year-old was limited to just two starts in 2012, but should regain his spot in the Brewers' rotation if he continues to progress.
