Carlos Gonzalez (finger) could be headed to the disabled list.
CarGo aggravated a nagging left index finger injury Tuesday and after the game didn't sound optimistic about his chances of avoiding the DL. "I really don't know what to do now at this point," Gonzalez said. "It's frustrating. This is the third time. I try to stay in there, but it gets to the point where I can't grip a bat. It gets so big, I can't fit into a batting glove." Rockies manager Walt Weiss also indicated that a trip to the DL might be in the offing for the outfielder. "We're at a point where we need to make a decision with him," the skipper said. The Rockies will re-evaluate CarGo Wednesday before making a decision, but with plenty of other capable outfielders on the roster, it wouldn't make sense to push the slugger.

Carlos Gonzalez left Tuesday's game versus the Diamondbacks after aggravating his left index finger injury.
Gonzalez has been dealing with the injury for two weeks now and it swelled up on him again Tuesday, forcing him out after the fifth inning. The Rockies are calling him day-to-day for now, but it's possible they'll look to give the outfielder an extended break.

Carlos Gonzalez (calf, finger) hit a two-run homer and drew a walk Friday in his return to action.
His two-run blast in the fourth inning was the only damage against Indians' right-hander Corey Kluber. CarGo has been bothered by a right calf contusion and lingering inflammation in his left index finger this week, but he's obviously still capable of doing damage.

Carlos Gonzalez is back in the Rockies' lineup Friday.
CarGo hadn't started since Tuesday because of a right calf contusion and lingering inflammation in his left index finger. He's hitting a disappointing .262/.313/.454 so far this season but obviously needs to be inserted back into fantasy lineups immediately.

Carlos Gonzalez is out of the Rockies' starting lineup on Wednesday with a right calf contusion.
CarGo is also still battling soreness in his left index finger. Charlie Blackmon, Corey Dickerson, and Michael Cudder will make up Colorado's starting outfield versus the Phillies. Gonzalez is considered day-to-day.

Carlos Gonzalez is day-to-day after leaving Tuesday's game against the Phillies with a right calf contusion.
Gonzalez suffered the injury when he fouled a ball off the calf. The Rockies are off Thursday, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see them give CarGo Wednesday off in hopes that he'll be ready to roll on Friday.

Carlos Gonzalez (finger) finished 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Sunday's loss to the Braves.
It was CarGo's first start since Wednesday and he did not look overly comfortable. The star outfielder continues to battle discomfort in his left index finger and may be in line for additional days of rest this week.
