Carlos Gonzalez (ankle) is back in Monday's lineup against the Cubs.
CarGo rolled his ankle prior to Saturday's game and missed two straight starts, but he's ready to give it a go. He'll bat third against Tsuyoshi Wada.

Carlos Gonzalez (ankle) entered Sunday's loss to the Pirates in the top of the sixth inning.
That's a good sign for CarGo's ankle, which he rolled in a pregame workout on Saturday. The 28-year-old outfielder should be in the Rockies' lineup Monday in Chicago.

Carlos Gonzalez (ankle) is not in the Rockies' lineup Sunday.
CarGo rolled his ankle prior to Saturday's game and has now sat out two straight contests. It doesn't appear to be a long-term concern, so consider the slugger day-to-day at this point. Brandon Barnes is in right field Sunday.

Carlos Gonzalez is out of the Rockies' lineup Saturday versus the Pirates due to a rolled ankle.
Gonzalez suffered the injury before Saturday's game and was a latch scratch. He holds a .250/.300/.448 batting line with 10 home runs and 36 RBI on the season.

Carlos Gonzalez connected for a two-run homer in Friday's win over the Pirates.
It was his 10th home run of the season and his second since returning from the disabled list. The 28-year-old has posted a .250/.300/.448 batting line through 61 games this season, which isn't quite what fantasy owners had in mind when they invested a first-round pick back in the spring, but there's reason for optimism now that his finger issue has been addressed.

Carlos Gonzalez (finger) went 1-for-4 with a single and a run scored in his return from the disabled list Friday.
He also made a pair of impressive defensive plays. Gonzalez ended up missing just over a month following surgery to remove a benign tumor from his left index finger. The 28-year-old wasn't his usual elite self prior to the procedure, so fantasy owners will have to hope that improved production is on the way now that the issue has been resolved.

Rockies activated OF Carlos Gonzalez from the 15-day disabled list.
CarGo had surgery last month to remove a benign tumor from his left index finger, but he hit .385/.467/1.077 with a couple homers during four rehab games to show he was ready. He'll be moved to right field upon his return. Gonzalez was hitting a disappointing .255/.307/.449 over 52 games before the injury but should improve upon that line with his finger no longer an issue.

Carlos Gonzalez (finger) will be used as the Rockies' right fielder once he's activated from the disabled list on Friday.
CarGo was the left fielder before going on the DL, but Michael Cuddyer's (shoulder) injury has opened up a spot in right. He's played over 100 games in right field during his career, so the switch shouldn't be a big deal. The Rockies will mainly use Corey Dickerson in left and Charlie Blackmon in center.

Carlos Gonzalez (finger) went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and a double in his first rehab game with Triple-A Colorado Springs on Monday.
It was his first game action since surgery last month to remove a benign tumor from his left index finger. If all goes according to plan, he'll play another couple of games in the minors before rejoining the Rockies this weekend.
