Mason saved 29 of 31 shots in Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Capitals in Game 1.
EDGE Analysis
Mason stuck in there as long as he could, but Philadelphia's 22nd-ranked offense couldn't provide any support for the netminder. If the Flyers are to compete in this series, the 27-year-old will need more support from his attack or it will be a short-lived postseason. The 2006 third-round pick is just 2-7 in his playoff career, which isn't promising.

Mason will be between the pipes in Thursday's Game 1 against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Mason was sharp in his last outing of the regular season, stopping 18 of 19 shots en route to a 3-1 win over the red-hot Penguins on Saturday. The 27-year-old netminder will look to keep rolling Thursday in a tough road matchup with a Washington team that has averaged an impressive 3.10 goals per game at home this season, fifth in the NHL.

Mason made 18 saves Saturday in a 3-1 win over Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
It was Mason's 12th consecutive start and it was a delicious one at that. The win sealed a postseason berth for the orange and black, and should earn Mason a day off Sunday when the Flyers take on the Isles.

Mason will defend the blue paint against the Penguins on Saturday, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason will make his 12th consecutive start in goal against hated rival Pittsburgh. The netminder has started to show some signs of fading as he is 0-2-1 in his last three outings including registering a 3.63 GAA in those contests. The Flyers will continue to lean on the 27-year-old to ensure they make the playoffs, but facing the high powered Penguins' offensive, even without Sidney Crosby, may make one hesitate on using Mason for their fantasy lineups.

Mason allowed four goals on 26 shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers came into the game desperate for points, as they fight for a playoff position. They have been relying on Mason heavily lately, as he has been the one to get them back in the hunt for the playoffs in the first place. Mason has now lost two straight and allowed three or more in both games. Philadelphia currently sits one point out of the Wild Card spot in the East and have two games remaining, the next being against the NHL's hottest team in the Penguins.

Mason will defend the net Thursday night against the visiting Maple Leafs, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason, who will make his 11th straight start, looked sharp against the Wings in Detroit on Wednesday, setting aside 23 of 25 shots, but the Flyers were unable to light the lamp on 30 attempts. Still, the date with the lowly Leafs is quite ideal for Mason and company. The Flyers are currently tied with the Bruins with 91 points in the standings, but they currently have the tie-breaker advantage for the second wild-card spot into the postseason out of the Eastern Conference. Mason will be an attractive fantasy play Thursday, given the juicy matchup and his team having a great reason to give it their all.

Mason stopped 23 of 25 shots in Wednesday's 3-0 loss to the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
While he was outplayed by Detroit counterpart Jimmy Howard, Mason will likely have to dust himself off and slide right back into the crease for each of Philadelphia's remaining three contests as they continue their frantic late-season dash toward the playoffs. Mason has dropped two straight decisions following a three-game winning streak, but the Flyers are unlikely to look elsewhere now after handing him 10 consecutive starts.

Mason has been pegged for Wednesday's start against the Red Wings in Detroit, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a rocky outing in his last go Sunday against the Penguins, Mason will make his 10th straight start for the Flyers in a crucial matchup with playoff implications. His only other outing versus Detroit this season ended in a victory, but he allowed three goals on 37 shots while doing so. The second time could turn out worse if he gets pelted again, but the Flyers have been playing good hockey of late, winning four of their last six. Mason will oppose Jimmy Howard, but he's been hot of late and the Red Wings haven't surpassed three goals in any of their last five games. The veteran should be deployed normally in season-long leagues and remains an option in daily given the severely limited slate.

Mason was beat for five goals in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Making his ninth straight start, the 27-year-old struggled in this one, allowing two first-period goals. A second-period tally by Patrick Hornqvist put the Flyers in a 3-0 hole. Despite the poor performance, Mason has looked good, picking up wins in his previous three starts -- allowing a total of five goals over that stretch. His recent strong play is a big reason the Flyers have a shot at making the playoffs with just a week of the regular season remaining. Sunday's matchup was tough for Mason, especially considering it was the second of a back-to-back, so don't read too much into it.

Mason is slated to start Sunday's road game against the Penguins, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The start will be Mason's ninth straight, and with Michal Neuvirth out for the rest of the regular season, we'd expect Mason -- who has won his last three turns -- to keep on getting the call as long as the Flyers are jostling for playoff slotting. Mason will have his work cut out for him on the road Sunday, going up against a Pittsburgh squad that has won five straight games and is coming off back-to-back five-goal efforts in a pair of regular victories.
