Mason will tend the twine Thursday against the Jets, Jordan Hall of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
It should come as no surprise that Mason is starting after Michal Neuvirth (lower body) was injured. Despite his struggles this season, he has posted a 3-5-3 record with a 3.24 GAA, Mason becomes the No. 1 netminder by default. If his performance continues to suffer, the 28-year-old could potentially see coach Dave Hakstol give rookie Anthony Stolarz a shot in goal.

Mason turned aside 24 of 26 shots, but absorbed a shootout loss Tuesday against the visiting Senators.
EDGE Analysis
This was a solid outing, but Mason continues to have issues coming out on top; he's got just three victories in 12 appearances, with only one of those among his nine starts. The Flyers have actually done a reasonably good job shielding their goalies -- they're allowing just 27.1 shots per game, the NHL's fourth-best mark -- but neither Mason nor Michal Neuvirth has provided particularly strong netminding on the whole. Still, this makes two straight strong outings for Mason on the heels of a six-goal disaster in Toronto last week.

Mason will start in goal Tuesday against the Senators, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Michal Neuvirth (lower body) out, expect Mason to receive almost every start in net over the next couple weeks. He played well in relief of Neuvirth on Saturday, and will look to build off that momentum in a matchup with an Ottawa club that's scored no more than two goals in seven November games.

Mason relieved starter Michael Neuvirth in the first period of Saturday's game and finished with 19 saves in a 3-2 win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth was injured on the seventh shot of the game and was forced to leave. Mason was solid in relief and made an excellent save on Eric Staal from in close to preserve the win. Neuvirth's injury could eliminate the current time share in the Philly net. Unfortunately, neither goalie has been sharp this season, so leave Mason in his jar until he figures out how to pop the lid on his game.

Mason let in five goals on 23 shots in Friday's 6-3 road loss to the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Mason was shredded by Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly, who collected a career-high four points on the night. Toronto was dominant in the dot in this one -- 58:42 faceoff percentage win ratio --- which did Mason no favors as he proceeded to cough up a pair of power-play goals. Yes, the Flyers have a few youngsters on the blue line, but that doesn't excuse Mason's 3.56 GAA through 10 appearances between the posts.

Mason will man the crease against the Maple Leafs on Friday, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
After riding the pine for four games in a row, Mason makes is second consecutive start Friday. Coach Dave Hakstol appears to be favoring extended starting stretches for his two netminders, rather than a more traditional every other format for a split goalie situation. In his nine appearances this season, Mason has posted a 2-4-2 record with a 3.23 GAA, not exactly the type of numbers fantasy owners are looking for in a goaltender. The 28-year-old will be tested often by Toronto, who are averaging a league leading 33.3 shots per game.

Mason stoned 33 of 35 shots during Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Mason just can't get it going in 2016-17, earning just two wins to date and giving up three-plus tallies in five appearances. The 28-year-old is bleeding goals at this point and the offensive support has attempted to stick by his side. The netminder is on the brink of sitting the pine in favor of Michal Neuvirth.

Mason will man the crease against the Red Wings on Tuesday, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
After two disasterous outings against Pittsburgh and Arizona, Mason has been riding the pine for the last four games with Michal Neuvirth between the pipes. Mason will need to show coach Dave Hakstol something Tuesday if he is going to take back the starting role. Another poor outing could result in the 28-year-old permanently relegated to the backup role.

Mason will guard the crease Saturday against the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Mason has gone 2-4-1 with a 3.15 GAA and .886 save percentage over his last seven games. He'll face a 5-2-1 Penguins team that has scored three or more goals in six of their first eight games this season.
