Mason will start in goal at home Tuesday night against the Bruins, CSN's Tim Panaccio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason getting the starting nod comes as no surprise, as he gave way to Anthony Stolarz for his NHL debut Sunday, and complementary goalie Michal Neuvirth (lower body) remains on long-term injured reserve. Mason will face a Bruins team that has been inconsistent in the attacking zone and only ranks 23rd in the league at 2.36 goals per contest.

Mason gave up three goals on 23 shots during Friday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers offense was aggressive, but even with 40 shots they could only put up two goals. The 28-year-old is in the midst of an ugly start in 2016-17, giving up over three goals per game that's resulted in a 5-8-3 record. In October, the 2006 third-round pick notched two wins and sits stuck at three in November. Mason is showing minimal improvement and remains tough to trust when defending the blue paint.

Mason will be in goal as the home starter for Friday's matinee against the Rangers as he took pregame warm-ups, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason has allowed two goals or more in five of eight November outings, resulting in a 2.70 GAA over that span. He's not a recommended fantasy play against a Rangers team currently leading the league at 3.90 goals per contest.

Mason gave up four goals on 29 shots in Wednesday's loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Just when it looked like he was getting his house in order, along came the Steven Stamkos-less Bolts to ruin Mason's day. He seemed to have things in hand through two periods, having stopped 20 of 21 shots for a 2-1 lead; the final frame, however, was a disaster, as Mason allowed Tampa to flip the script on a moment's notice with two goals in a 12-second span. The Flyers get back at it when the Rangers come to town Friday, and it'll be interesting to see whether Mason draws his sixth straight start or rookie Anthony Stolarz gets a shot.

Mason will start in net Wednesday against the Lightning, Tim Panaccio of CSNPhilly reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason's production has improved drastically over his last seven starts as the 28-year-old netminder has gone 3-2-2 with a 2.49 GAA and .912 save percentage compared to 2-4-1 with a 3.46 GAA and .878 save percentage over his first eight starts. He'll protect the net against a Lightning squad that ranks fourth in the NHL in goals (61) this season but is currently without top playmaker Steven Stamkos (knee).

Mason gave up only a single goal on 39 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 road win against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers got outshot by a strong margin, but Mason was arguably the best player on the ice. Although his season stats are still weak, Mason's steadily been getting them together -- over his last five appearances, he's given up just nine goals on 135 shots, good for a .933 save percentage.

Mason will start in goal Tuesday night against the Panthers, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers are allowing 3.42 goals per contest, which is currently the worst rate in the NHL. Mason has made six consecutive starts with wild variation in terms of his quality of play -- He's gone 2-2-2 in that span, having sprinkled two total stinkers in the box score, including a six-goal shredding from the sticks of the Maple Leafs on Nov. 11. In that same vein, the veteran goalie has posted a goals-against average at 2.00 or below in four more outings. The unpredictability makes Mason a risky fantasy play in this coming contest.

Mason made 15 saves in the Flyers' 3-0 loss to the Lightning on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Mason's play has been riding a yo-yo this season, but he'd been sharp in his last three outings. Unfortunately, he was a bit dull Saturday -- his in-game save percentage was a painful .833.

Mason will start between the pipes in Saturday's home game against the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Mason has been red hot lately, posting a 2-0-1 record with a 1.82 GAA and .936 save percentage over his last three appearances. The 28-year-old netminder will look to keep rolling in a tough home matchup with a Tampa Bay team that has been dangerous on the road, having averaged 3.30 goals per game away from home this season.

Mason stopped 30 of 32 shots in Thursday's 5-2 victory over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a scuffle on the whole for Mason this year, but he's now had three consecutive dazzling appearances in the aftermath of Michal Neuvirth's lower-body injury. Over that span, he's 2-0-1 with a .936 save percentage, which is quite a far cry from his .889 mark for the season. The Flyers will need him to stay strong in net with Neuvirth on IR, as temporary backup Anthony Stolarz is unproven at the NHL level.
