Mason turned aside 24 of 26 shots, but absorbed a shootout loss Tuesday against the visiting Senators.
EDGE Analysis
This was a solid outing, but Mason continues to have issues coming out on top; he's got just three victories in 12 appearances, with only one of those among his nine starts. The Flyers have actually done a reasonably good job shielding their goalies -- they're allowing just 27.1 shots per game, the NHL's fourth-best mark -- but neither Mason nor Michal Neuvirth has provided particularly strong netminding on the whole. Still, this makes two straight strong outings for Mason on the heels of a six-goal disaster in Toronto last week.
