Darling will be between the pipes for Game 3 on Sunday against the Predators, Mark Lazerus of The Chicago Sun-Times reports. It isn't a huge surprise, as Corey Crawford has struggled in back-to-back starts, allowing nine goals on 47 shots over that span. Darling, on the other hand, was phenomenal in relief of Crawford in Game 1 of the series, turning away every one of Nashville's 42 shots en route to a 4-3 double-overtime victory. He'll look to build on that outstanding performance on Sunday.

Darling stopped all 42 shots that he faced in Game 1 against the Predators on Wednesday night in the Blackhawks' 4-3 win in two overtimes as he came in relief for Corey Crawford. After the Blackhawks went down 3-0 after the first period, coach Joel Quenneville pulled Crawford and went to Darling in the Stanley Cup playoffs opening series. It was Darling's first appearance in a NHL playoff game and he was brilliant in keeping Nashville off the board. It was the first Blackhawks goalie in more than 70 years to win a playoff game in a first playoff appearance. While Darling was stellar in goal, the Blackhawks could go back to Crawford for Game 2 on Friday night. If they do go to Crawford in Game 2, Darling could be called on if Crawford comes out of the gate slowly again.

Darling was the first goalie off the ice at the Blackhawks' morning skate and is thus in line to start Saturday's game against the Avalanche, ESPN Chicago reports. The Blackhawks have already secured their spot in the postseason, so it seems coach Joel Quenneville will rest usual starting goalie Corey Crawford for what amounts to a largely inconsequential regular-season finale. As a result, Darling will get the nod, and probably makes for one of the stronger options in daily leagues due to the high number of No. 1 goalies across the league that will be sitting. Darling has been one of the league's top backups this season, upholding a 9-3-0 record, 1.86 GAA, and .939 save percentage over his 13 appearances with the Blackhawks this season.

Darling stopped 35 of 38 shots in Friday's win over the Sabres. Another great outing for Darling, who has won three straight games, stopping 104 of the last 108 shots he's faced. While started Corey Crawford is expected to get the call Sunday against the Blues, the 26-year-old backup, who owns a .939 save percentage on the year, could see another start before the end of the season.

Darling will start Friday's game against the Sabres, Howard Simon of WGR 550 reports. The Blackhawks will rest Corey Crawford in the second game of a back-to-back, following Thursday's 3-1 win over the Canucks. Crawford will likely return to the net for Sunday's game against the Blues, but Darling could get another start before the end of the season.

Darlining turned aside 31 of 32 shots in Monday's 4-1 win over the Kings. Yet another impressive performance out of Darling as the lone goal was the first he's allowed in his last six periods in net. The 26-year-old sports impressive numbers with an 8-3-0 record, 1.77 GAA, and .941 save percentage so he's proven to be a reliable spot start option for fantasy owners whenever he gets the starting nod.

Darling is slated to start Monday's game against the Kings, ESPN Chicago reports. Darling, who will give Sunday's starter, Corey Crawford, a breather, last started for the Hawks on March 18, a game in which he stopped all 25 shots he faced, en route to shutting the Rangers out, 1-0. After Monday's contest, the Hawks have one more regular season back-to-back set, Thursday against the Canucks and Friday against the Sabres.

Darling will backup Corey Crawford in goal for the Blackhawks' contest against Winnipeg on Sunday, ESPN Chicago reports. Darling came in relief for Crawford on Friday against Columbus and stopped all 13 shots that he faced. This might be a move by Hawks' coach Joel Quenneville to instill confidence that Crawford is the number one goalie. There is a very good chance that Darling starts on Monday against the Kings with a back-to-back scenario. Darling has stopped all 38 shots he's faced in his last two outings, advancing his save percentage to .938 and his goals-against-average to 1.84. Whenever the 26-year-old does get the call, he's shown he can be a reliable spot start.

Darling stopped all 13 shots he faced in relief of Corey Crawford Friday against Columbus. It was a rough night for Crawford, who was pulled after giving up four goals on just 13 shots. While Crawford is the man in Chicago, Darling has stopped all 38 shots he's faced in his last two outings, advancing his save percentage to .938 and his goals-against-average to 1.84. Whenever the 26-year-old does get the call, he's shown he can be a reliable spot start.

Darling stopped all 25 shots he faced Wednesday in his first career shutout against the Rangers. The Rangers had been the hottest team in the NHL heading into Wednesday's game, but Darling was able to shut them down all night, and improved his record to 7-3-0 on the season. He's not going to unseat Corey Crawford as Chicago's starter, but he just signed a two-year extension with the team, so it looks like Darling will be the Hawks backup for the foreseeable future.
