Neuvirth stopped 29 of 31 shots in Friday's shootout loss to Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
A terrific showing from Neuvirth, who stood on his head in overtime to help the Flyers get to the shootout. The 27-year-old drops to 12-6-4 on the season with a .930 save percentage. With the way the Flyers are struggling, wins may be hard to come by for Neuvirth, but he continues to deliver strong performances, so if you're looking for good rate stats, the former Capital will likely get the job done whenever he gets the nod.

Neuvirth will be in the cage Friday against Montreal, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite his role as Philadelphia's backup goaltender, Neuvirth sits at third in the NHL with his .930 save percentage. That being said, Neuvirth's play has been trending downward in recent contests, allowing three goals in three of his last four appearances and posting a .899 save percentage during that span. While it's true that Montreal has continued to struggle in recent weeks, it wouldn't be surprising if the recently called out P.K. Subban leads a spirited effort for the Habs on home ice Friday.

Neuvirth allowed three goals on just 24 shots in New Jersey on Tuesday, but came away with a 6-3 win.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers' skaters don't often make Neuvirth's life easy, but they certainly gave him a lift in this one, bailing him out from an uninspiring stat line. That's a pleasant change of pace from Saturday's loss to the Devils, in which Philadelphia's skaters managed to offer up just a single goal of support. Despite his still-strong season stats, Neuvirth seems set to continue serving as the backup to Steve Mason, who's been drawing about two-thirds of the starts.

Neuvirth will be the road starter Tuesday night, taking on the Devils, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth returned from a five-game layoff due to a lower-body injury Saturday against the Devils. He set aside 22 shots and looked sharp despite losing in overtime, 2-1. The Devils' focus is squarely centered on shutting down opponents, judging on how they only allow 2.2 goals per game, first in the NHL. On a related note, Neuvy shouldn't face much pressure as the Devils only average 2.2 scores per match, dead last in the league.

Neuvirth made 22 saves Saturday in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Devils. It was his first start since Jan. 27 after missing five games because of a lower body injury.
EDGE Analysis
He was sharp, but just couldn't brick things up in OT after the Flyers took a penalty. Neuvirth made a couple of ten-bell saves late in regulation and again in overtime, and looked none the worse for wear after missing that time. Neuvirth could see more starts soon enough -- Steve Mason is 3-4-2 in his last nine and hasn't exactly stolen games.

Neuvirth will tend goal against the visiting Devils on Saturday afternoon, Tim Panaccio of CSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth will be making his first start since Jan. 27, as a lower-body injury that he sustained in practice had kept him away from game ice. Assuming you don't mind the risk of starting a netminder that hasn't played recently, Neuvirth could be an excellent fantasy play Saturday since he's maintained a GAA better than 2.00 in day games and at home. Plus, New Jersey's offense flat out stinks given how it averages a league-low 2.22 goals per contest.

Neuvirth (lower body) will be available as the backup to Steve Mason on Thursday night against the visiting Sabres, CSN's Tim Panaccio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth will be on hand for the first time since sustaining the lower-body injury in practice Feb. 1. In an apparent attempt to ease him back into the fold, Neuvy will watch Steve Mason make his sixth consecutive start Thursday. He's a fine complement to Mason based on a 2.14 GAA and .933 save percentage in 21 appearances this campaign.

Neuvirth (lower body) took part in an abbreviated practice Wednesday, his first since suffering a lower-body injury Feb. 1 during a practice session, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth continues to work his way back from the lower-body injury that was originally dated with a 7-10 day timetable. While getting in a first practice certainly bodes well, his timing was reportedly off, and it seems likely he'll need to get a few more in before returning. He remains without a firm target date at this point, but Neuvirth probably won't be ready for the team's next game Thursday against the Sabres.

Neuvirth (lower body) will miss his fifth contest of the season Tuesday against Anaheim, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
If an injury can ever be said to "come at the right time" then this is certainly the case for Neuvirth who was injured just as starting goalie Steve Mason returned to the lineup. In his five outings prior to being injured, the 27-year-old logged a .918 save percentage and picked up three victories. If he can get healthy, the netminder's most likely next start would be in the Flyers' upcoming Saturday and Sunday back-to-back.

Neuvirth (lower body) was placed on IR according to the NHL's official media site.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth will be out for at least the next seven to 10 days as he recovers from the injury sustained in practice Monday. The 27-year-old Czech goaltender has played decently this season, compiling a 11-6-2 record with a .933 save percentage and 2.14 GAA through 21 games. Anthony Stolarz will backup Steve Mason in Neuvirth's abscence.
