Neuvirth will receive the start in net Friday against the Stars, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth will receive both starts of a back-to-back set Thursday and Friday for the Flyers, which seems a bit surprising with Steve Mason also an option. However, the netminder was solid Thursday against the Blues, setting aside 35 of the 37 shots he faced, but he'll face a tough matchup Friday in the league's most powerful offense.

Neuvirth stopped 35 of 37 shots in Thursday's win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
A monstrous effort from Neuvirth, who stopped 13 of 14 shots in the third period to prevent St. Louis from tying it. Neuvirth is now leading the entire NHL with a .938 save percentage and has won four of his last five games. He's been a revelation in Philadelphia and hasn't lost in regulation since Nov.10, so get him in your lineup whenever he gets the nod. While he's currently splitting crease time with Steve Mason, if he continues this spectacular play, it's possible he could take over the starting role.

Neuvirth will be in the crease Thursday night, starting against the the host Blues, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth is off to a fine start in December based on a 1.69 GAA and .912 save percentage through two games. Additionally, fellow netminder Steve Mason was pulled from his last start as he continues to be riddled by streaky play and various injuries this season -- this should mean that Neuvirth starts garnering more attention than usual in the fantasy realm.

Neuvirth stopped all 16 shots he faced in relief Tuesday against the Islanders, but was stuck with a loss after giving up the only goal of the shootout.
EDGE Analysis
And that's how you take a 4-3 loss without giving up a goal. Although this defeat ends his three-game winning streak, it's just another example of how drastically Neuvirth's outplayed ostensible starter Steve Mason. His .937 save mark and 2.00 GAA over 13 games (11 starts) are light years ahead of Mason's rate stats, and it wouldn't be surprising to see the 27-year-old Czech take over a majority share of duties in the Philadelphia net.

Neuvirth stopped 15 of 18 shots in a 4-3 OT win over the Devils on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Normally giving up three goals on 18 shots would be a recipe for disaster for the offensively-challenged Flyers, but alas they were able to slip four past Cory Schneider of the Devils for the victory. Neuvirth has now strung together three straight wins but continues to play second-fiddle to Steve Mason in Philly, as he's made 11 starts to Mason's 15. He's been superior to Mason in terms of save percentage (.934 to Mason's .911) and GAA (2.12 to Mason's 2.73), so one figures the tide will eventual turn in his favour should he be able to continue the strong play.

Neuvirth will be in the crease Friday in New Jersey, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite leading the league with a .939 save percentage, Neuvirth has yet to supplant Steve Mason as Philadelphia's number one goaltender. This will be Neuvirth's first start since November 27 and his opponent on Friday, the Devils, play with a structured system that doesn't produce many offensive chances.

Neuvirth set aside 33 of the 35 shots he faced to earn his fifth win of the season Friday against the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth only faced one shot in the overtime period before his team scored the game-winning goal as he was able to best stud netminder Pekka Rinne on Friday to earn the game's second star. He's now come out victorious in two straight games, but continues to see spotty opportunities in net. If he continues to play well, it will be difficult to keep him out of the crease, but it wouldn't be surprising if Steve Mason is back between the pipes for the second game of a back-to-back set Saturday.

Neuvirth will start Friday at home versus the Predators, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth has only made one start in the past four games, with the Flyers making Steve Mason (3.00 GAA, .906 save percentage) the flavor of the month. Still, Neuvirth gets the nod in this matchup with the Preds, perhaps because of his 2-0-1 record, 1.28 GAA and .959 save percentage in three career appearances against them.

Neuvirth made 31 saves Monday in a 3-2 overtime win over Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
The win gives Neuvirth four on the season, but more impressively, ranks second in the league in save percentage (.939) and eighth in goals-against average (2.07). Those numbers are much better than Steve Mason's right now, although head coach Dave Hakstol still seems to prefer going with Mason. If Neuvirth continues this pace, there comes a point where Hakstol can't ignore him any longer. He's worth a stash in deep leagues.

Neuvirth will get the starting nod in net Monday against the Hurricanes, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvrith hasn't returned to net since he's been deemed healthy from a previous upper-body injury, but that will come to fruition Monday as he looks to pick up where he left off before the issue. In nine appearances, Neuvirth sports a 2.08 GAA and a .939 save percentage that's earned him just a 3-3-1 record. While he continues to be a solid presence in net, the Flyers' lack of scoring (1.70 goals per game, worst in the league) tends to be the biggest detriment to his potential for wins when he does get a chance between the pipes. However, he'll square off against a Hurricanes club Monday that has also struggled to put the puck home, giving him a decent matchup for daily formats.
