Neuvirth is dealing with a lower-body injury and will be out for 7-10 days, per Flyers general manager Ron Hextall.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth sustained the injury in practice Monday. Anthony Stolarz has been called up from AHL Lehigh Valley and presumably will serve as the backup to Steve Mason for Tuesday's home contest against the Canadiens, provided Mason is over a lower-body injury of his own.

Neuvirth left practice Monday with an undisclosed injury, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth was on the ice for approximately 15 minutes Monday before leaving. He is being evaluated and more information will likely come out Tuesday. Steve Mason will likely draw into the lineup in Neuvirth's place.

Neuvirth stopped 27 of 30 shots en route to a 4-3 overtime win over the Capitals on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth stood tall when it mattered in this one, handing the Caps their first loss at home since November. He's been one of the league's best backups this season and heads into the All-Star break sporting a 11-6-2 record with a 2.14 GAA and a .933 save percentage -- which happens to be the best mark in the entire league among qualified netminders. With that said, if there's any goalie that's poised to wrestle the duties away from their team's incumbent starting netminder (Steve Mason, in this case) once play resumes, it's Neuvirth.

Neuvirth will be in goal for Wednesday's game against the Capitals, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
As a result of primary starter Steve Mason ruled out Wednesday with a lower-body injury, Neuvirth (who's dealing with a lower-body injury of his own) will receive the start. The team recalled Jason LaBarbera from AHL Las Vegas on emergency conditions Wednesday to back up Neuvirth, but he shouldn't see time between the pipes barring something unforeseen. The veteran Neuvirth has been good in the crease in limited opportunities this season, but will face an extremely tough matchup Wednesday against one of the league's best offenses in Washington.

Neuvirth (lower body) will be available for Wednesday's tilt against the Capitals, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth played the entirety of Monday's contest and was able to practice Tuesday morning, but there was still some uncertainty regarding his status after he was spotted with a noticeable limp. He'll be available Wednesday, though it remains to be seen if coach Dave Hakstol will tab him or Steve Mason as the starter.

Neuvirth (lower body) was back at practice Tuesday morning, Kyle Phillippi of CSN Philly reports.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth was able to play Monday's game against the Bruins in full, but reportedly was "spotted with a pronounced limp" afterward. His return to practice is an encouraging sign, though it's too early to tell if he will be available for Wednesday's road match with the Capitals.

Neuvirth was spotted with a pronounced limp following Monday's loss to the Bruins, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The extent of Neuvirth's limp won't be unveiled until Tuesday as he required medical attention following the game and wasn't available to the media. On the bright side, however, he did manage to play the entirety of Monday's game, stopping 28 of 31 shots while affording normal starter Steve Mason the night off.

Neuvirth allowed three goals on 31 shots in a 3-2 loss to the visiting Bruins on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
He was actually quite good for most of the contest between a pair of power-play goals in the first and the game-winning marker by Brett Connolly with 1:54 remaining in the third. Neuvirth has now gotten into 20 games this year for the Flyers, posting a 10-6-2 record with a GAA of 2.10 and a save percentage of .934 -- which is second best in the NHL among qualified goaltenders. In short, he's been a fantastic backup to Steve Mason and is a real threat to take his job as the Flyers push for a postseason berth down the stretch.

Neuvirth will start in the crease Monday against the Bruins, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite seeing limited action this season behind primary netminder Steve Mason, Neuvirth has been a solid presence between the pipes for the Flyers. He will start in goal once again Monday, looking to improve on his 10-5-2 record, along with his 2.05 GAA and .936 save percentage on the campaign. The backup netminder will face a Bruins club having won four of its last five tilts.

Neuvirth stopped 29 of 30 shots in Sunday's shootout win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
An excellent showing from Neuvirth, who was making his first appearance since Jan. 5. The 27-year-old advances to 10-5-2 on the season with a .936 save percentage. He doesn't see a ton of crease time behind Steve Mason, but he's been phenomenal when called upon this season and should be in your lineup on nights the surging Flyers opt to give Mason a rest.
