Okposo (illness) will not return for the Sabres' last three games of the season, John Vogl of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
It is certainly concerning that Okposo will not be cleared to return, losing a total of six contests to this ailment. It is possible the team is just being cautious with only pride to play for, but there will no doubt be anxious fans and fantasy owners alike awaiting more information regarding the 28-year-old's status for the 2017-18 campaign.

Okposo (illness) did not participate in Tuesday's practice and he's seeking further medical opinion.
EDGE Analysis
Okposo has missed the past three games due to illness, and it's still unclear what exactly he's suffering from. Whatever it is, it's bad enough to keep him off the ice, making his status for Wednesday's game against Montreal doubtful. He's appeared in just 65 games for the Sabres this season, and with team eliminated from playoff contention, there's no need to rush Okposo back. In the meantime, Tyler Ennis will likely remain the top-line right winger.

Okposo (illness) will skip Sunday's game against the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Okposo continues to battle a bug, holding him out of a second straight contest for the Sabres. His production will be missed by both Buffalo and fantasy owners, but it likely won't hold him out too long. The winger's return to the ice during practice will likely signify his return to the lineup, though he could return Monday without a morning skate under his belt if the team decides to forego it on a back-to-back schedule.

Okposo was not on the ice for practice Saturday, leaving him doubtful to play in Sunday's home game versus the Islanders, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Okposo must be dealing with an extraordinary illness, as he's been fighting the bug since Tuesday and sat out of that evening's road game against the Blue Jackets. The Sabres have signed C.J. Smith, a prospect from UMass-Lowell, so he'll presumably shore up the forward depth at least until Okposo is fit to play again.

Okposo is still fighting an illness and did not partake in Thursday's practice, John Vogl of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Okposo missed Tuesday's game against Columbus but the Sabres have a four-day break before their next game on Sunday against the Islanders. Despite a strong season, Okposo has missed most of March due to an injury to his ribs. The Sabres are out of the playoff race and hoping to finish the season on a strong note. Okposo's status for Sunday will be updated over the next few days, and if he's healthy enough to play is worthy of a spot in most fantasy lineups.

Okposo (illness) is doubtful to play Tuesday against the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
After recently returning from missing 10 games to a rib injury, Okposo will likely watch this one from the sidelines. In the last four games he has played, though, the 28-year-old notched one goal and five assists. If he is unable to play in Columbus, he'll have four days to recover before his next opportunity to play at home against the Islanders.

Okposo (ribs) returned to practice Thursday and has a solid shot to play Saturday against the Maple Leafs, barring any setbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Okposo, who last suited up March 2, approaches his pending return with 19 goals and 43 points to his credit over 63 games. Look for further clarification of his status in advance of Saturday's tilt, a game in which William Carrier and Dmitry Kulikov are also candidates to return to the lineup.

Okposo (ribs) is skating again, The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Okposo has already missed 10 games, and despite a three-day break before facing the Leafs on Saturday, is expected to be back "next week," according to head coach Dan Bylsma. There is no exact date set for his return, and with the Sabres out of the playoff race, there's no real hurry, either. Okposo has been a very welcome addition to the Sabres offense this season, scoring 19 goals and 43 points in 63 games this season, the fourth straight season he's scored at least 40 points. He's a mid-tier fantasy option that can provide some good value in deep leagues, but won't really help owners win any championships.

Okposo (ribs) will not play Tuesday against the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
It's been almost two weeks since Okposo's week-to-week diagnosis, and he doesn't appear to be any closer to returning. Okposo hurt his ribs after crashing into the boards March 2 against Arizona, but has not been placed on injured reserve. There is no date set for his return. Meanwhile, Brian Gionta is expected to be the top-line right winger alongside Ryan O'Reilly and Evander Kane.
