Okposo was not on the ice for practice Saturday, leaving him doubtful to play in Sunday's home game versus the Islanders, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports.

Okposo must be dealing with an extraordinary illness, as he's been fighting the bug since Tuesday and sat out of that evening's road game against the Blue Jackets. The Sabres have signed C.J. Smith, a prospect from UMass-Lowell, so he'll presumably shore up the forward depth at least until Okposo is fit to play again.
