He's not playing often enough or consistent enough to justify a roster spot in most formats.

While the 20-year-old has dominated at every level he's played at, Tierney is seeing too little ice time for this recent production to continue. While he's managed 24 points in 26 games in the AHL this season, Tierney needs to see more minutes before we can recommend looking at him in most fantasy leagues. The talent is there, though, so keep an eye on him.
