Tierney appears to have made it through final cuts and will be in the Sharks lineup on opening night, according to Fear the Fin. Tierney will center a third line that features two rookies. If Tierney can make this work it gives the team a frightening top line with Joe Thornton, Tomas Hertl, and Joe Pavelski. Tierney's going to be given a chance to succeed.
