Galchenyuk scored his 10th goal of the season in Tuesday night's 4-3 loss to the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Galchenyuk's offense has picked up, having registered points (three goals, three assists) in six of the last seven games. The flip side is him being minus-4 in those seven games. He's still only 22-years-old, so there's time for him to develop into a consistent top-6 forward, but Galchenyuk's in his fourth NHL season and the expected growth in his overall game hasn't happened yet.

Galchenyuk scored a goal and had three shots in Monday night's 4-3 shootout win over Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Galchenyuk extended his current point streak to four games, and has posted 14 in the past 18 games. He's been the rare Candaien showing some offense during the team's slump.

Galchenyuk broke Pekka Rinne's shutout with a third-period, power-play goal in Monday night's 5-1 loss to the Predators. The goal snapped a nine-game scoreless drought.
EDGE Analysis
Galchenyuk struggled at the dot, winning just one of eight faceoffs, but had seven shots on net and was one of the few Habs generating offensive pressure.

Galchenyuk had two shots on goal and was minus-2 in Wednesday night's 3-1 loss to the Bruins. He also blocked five shots and was 50 percent (10-of-20) on draws.
EDGE Analysis
This was Galchenyuk's first game as the center on the top line, but it didn't work out well as both he and Max Pacioretty were on the ice for two of Boston's three goals.

Galchenyuk will center Montreal's top line beginning Wednesday night against the Bruins, the Montreal Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Both Galchenyuk and Sven Andrighetto will move up and join Max Pacioretty, who leads the Habs with 13 goals. The Canadiens haven't been scoring lately, and head coach Michel Therrien has been tinkering with his lines over the past two weeks because of it.

Galchenyuk was moved from second-line center to first-line right wing in the third period of Friday night's game and scored the game-tying goal in a 3-2 shootout win over the Devils, Hockey Inside Out reports.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Michel Therrien's decision to replace Devante Smith-Pelly on the top line worked out as Max Pacioretty sprung Galchenyuk, who split two defenders and beat Cory Schneider with a back-hander. Galchenyuk and the second line has played well the last five games, so we'll have to see if Therrien is willing to upset the chemistry of that unit. We'll learn soon as the Canadiens and Devils are back at it Saturday night in Montreal.

Galchenyuk scored the game-tying goal and also potted one in the shootout Friday night, helping the Canadiens to a 3-2 win over the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Galchenyuk beat Cory Schneider glove side in regulation, so he went that way again in the shootout frame and succeeded once more, making Schneider appear dizzy from tracking so much stick movement. With Brendan Gallagher out about six weeks due to a hand injury, Galchenyuk should be relied upon more heavily. The Wisconsin native now has four goals and 11 assists in 23 games this season.

Galchenyuk scored a goal for the second straight game and added a power-play assist Wednesday in a win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
That's now four points in the last three games for Galchenyuk, who hadn't scored a goal since late October prior to Sunday's game and had just three points in the nine-game stretch preceding this little hot streak. Consistency (or lack thereof) is still an issue, but we're starting to see more nad more flashes of the stud potential Galchenyuk brings to the table.
