EDGE Analysis
Galchenyuk has supreme awareness and hockey sense, making him a real threat in the attacking zone. He's incredibly hot this month, having also tacked on three helpers to go along with the trio of scores in just five contests. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Galchenyuk picked up a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
The young star continues to, well, star -- eight points in his last six games and 13 in 13 on the season. Galchenyuk has grown his point totals every year he's been in the league, and this appears to be no exception. It's interesting to note that he's doing it despite seeing rather slender ice time for a top-liner, as Galchenyuk has only exceeded 16 minutes once in the last 10 games.

Galchenyuk registered a multi-point outing -- two assists -- for the second consecutive game Wednesday against Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old pivot is off to a solid start to 2016-17 with three goals and seven helpers over 10 games, as Galchenyuk is proving he's capable of being Montreal's No. 1 center. With a jump in offensive production in each of his past three seasons, look for Galchenyuk to continue his career trajectory and post another career-best fantasy showing this year.

Galchenyuk scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 2-1 win over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Galchenyuk has now delivered eight points (three goals, five assists) in nine games this season. He's developing into the stud first-liner that he was predicted to be during his draft year. Galchenyuk could finish the season as the Habs' top overall scorer this year, not just the top goal man. His time is coming.

Galchenyuk deposited a power-play goal in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Galchenyuk took a slick feed from Andrei Markov for a one-timer against the twine, tying the game in the third period. It's hard to believe, but Galchenyuk already has four campaigns under his belt -- 282 career games -- at the tender age of 22. In that span, he's dialed in 73 goals and 92 helpers, including 40 points on the man advantage.

Galchenyuk scored his first goal of the season in Thursday night's 5-2 win over the Coyotes. The top-line center has points in each of the first four games.
EDGE Analysis
Galchenyuk is still adjusting to life as a full-time center, winning just 33 percent of his draws, but with Montreal winning (3-0-1), head coach Michel Therrien will give him time to hone that skill. One skill that doesn't need honing is his knack for offense, whether it be scoring or playmaking. His line, with Max Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher produced 14 of Montreal's 43 shots Thursday.

Galchenyuk notched a power-play assist in Tuesday's win over Pittsburgh, pushing his season-opening point streak to three games.
EDGE Analysis
He's picked up an assist in all three of those contests, so 2012's No. 3 overall pick is off to a point-per-game start as he looks to build on last season's career-high 30 goals and 56 points. Galchenyuk is in a great spot on Montreal's top line next to Max Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher, so he has every chance to churn out a whole new set of career bests this year -- especially once the Habs get the stabilizing presence of Carey Price (illness) back on the ice.

Galchenyuk will center Montreal's top line with Max Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher the forwards, Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Montreal head coach Michel Therrien confirmed this news at the team's annual golf tournament Tuesday, but it was something we thought might happen given how well Galchenyuk finished last season as the top line's center. The placement on the top line with Montreal's most dangerous scorers puts Galchenyuk in position to repeat as a 30-goal scorer in 2016-17.

Galchenyuk suffered a broken right pinky finger Mar. 3 and played the rest of the season with it, the Montreal Gazette reports. Despite the finger injury, Galchenyuk thrived, scoring 17 points (11 goals, six assists) in the final 17 games on his way to a career-high 56 points.
EDGE Analysis
It took forever for head coach Michel Therrien to find the right combination, moving Galchenyuk from center to wing and back to center again, but putting him with Max Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher unlocked the talented 22-year-old, who tied for the team high with 30 goals while averaging only 16:15 of ice time per game. There needs to be changes next season, particularly on offense, but the Habs will likely keep Galchenyuk at center with the same linemates.
