Galchenyuk scored the game-tying goal and also potted one in the shootout Friday night, helping the Canadiens to a 3-2 win over the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Galchenyuk beat Cory Schneider glove side in regulation, so he went that way again in the shootout frame and succeeded once more, making Schneider appear dizzy from tracking so much stick movement. With Brendan Gallagher out about six weeks due to a hand injury, Galchenyuk should be relied upon more heavily. The Wisconsin native now has four goals and 11 assists in 23 games this season.
