Carroll posted 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt) and four rebounds in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 112-102 win over the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll has insisted that he's almost entirely healthy after missing most of the 2015-16 campaign following arthroscopic right knee surgery, but his play hasn't backed it up. He's only hit double digits in the scoring column on two occasions this season, and coach Dwane Casey has actively looked to limit the forward's playing time of late. Carroll has played between 20 and 22 minutes in each of the Raptors' last four contests.

Carroll said he's currently between 80-to-90 percent healthy, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll missed the majority of the 2015-16 campaign after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and despite being cleared for action, Carroll believes he's yet to make a return to full strength. He still played nearly 30 minutes in the season opener Wednesday and appears likely to play through any lingering ailments, so don't expect these latest comments to hurt his stock. If anything, look for Carroll to only improve with time, which should help him bounce back from a less than spectacular showing in the opener.

Carroll scored eight points (2-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT) and added seven rebounds, a steal, and a block in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 109-91 win over the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
It was an inauspicious return for Carroll, who missed most of 2015-16 after a December knee surgery. In his last full season in Atlanta, 2014-15, Carroll averaged 12.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.7 threes to go with 48.7 percent field goal shooting. This was his first game back in almost a year, so there is still justification for optimism here.

Carroll will be rested for Toronto's preseason game on Friday against the Argentinian club San Lorenzo de Almagro, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll and the rest of Toronto's starters will not be suiting up on Friday, with the team opting to play backups and younger players against the Argentinian squad. Carroll's first chance to return to action will be on Wednesday in Detroit.

Carroll supplied 13 points (6-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists and three steals over 18 minutes in Thursday's 119-94 preseason win over the Cavs.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll filled out the stat sheet nicely in what was his second-longest stint of the three preseason games he's been active for. The eight-year veteran has posted a pair of double-digit scoring outings over that span, shooting an outstanding 60 percent (12-for-20) from the field in the process. The strong start to the exhibition slate is an encouraging sign, given that Carroll suffered through an injury-marred first season in Toronto in which he saw notable drops in field-goal, three-point and free-throw shooting percentages over those of his 2014-15 campaign in Atlanta.

Carroll (rest) will sit out Monday's preseason game against the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
As one of the Raptors' veteran players, Carroll will get the night off for additional rest Monday, as the team wants to limit his minutes as much as possible prior to the regular season. With Carroll expected to be sidelined, it should open up additional minutes for the likes of Terrence Ross and Norman Powell.

Carroll (knee) tallied 14 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and four steals across 19 minutes during Saturday's 97-93 preseason win over the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
After knee problems limited him to just 26 games a season ago, Carroll still has something to prove as he enters the second year of his four-year, $58 million deal with the Raptors. He certainly looked to be over any lingering knee soreness during the preseason opener, leading the Raptors in scoring while shooting the ball efficiently from the field. Coach Dwane Casey could end up holding Carroll out of a few preseason contests for rest, but the 30-year-old provided encouraging signs Saturday that he'll be worth targeting in the middle or later rounds of fantasy drafts.

Carroll (knee) will start in Saturday's preseason game against the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll is still making his way back from December knee surgery, although his ability to play in Toronto's first preseason game suggests he'll be ready when the regular season starts as well, which is exactly what coach Dwane Casey stated throughout training camp.

Carroll (knee) took part in the Raptors' first preseason practice on Tuesday. Head coach Dwane Casey said the team will monitor Carroll's minutes in the preseason but he expects the forward to be ready for opening night with no limitations, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll is still recovering from knee surgery last season, which only allowed him to play in 26 regular season games. He did return for Toronto's playoff run, but looked limited when he did take the court. Look for the team to take things as slow as needed during the preseason, as they would hate for the injury to be re-aggravated. Carroll said he felt good in the practice of the year, which is a reassuring sign for Raptors' fans.

Carroll is "still not 100 percent," per coach Dwane Casey, Doug Smith of Raptors.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll underwent arthroscopic knee surgery midway through last season, causing him to miss more than 40 games before returning prior to the start of the playoffs. While the Raptors advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals, it was clear that Carroll was less than 100 percent, and he also developed nagging wrist and ankle injuries near the end of Toronto's run. Despite a four-month break, Carroll is apparently still recovering, though the Raptors did not provide specifics as to which injury, or injuries, are affecting him. Casey indicated that Toronto will limit Carroll's workload during camp, and his minutes will be monitored when the season begins.
