Carroll is "still not 100 percent," per coach Dwane Casey, Doug Smith of Raptors.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll underwent arthroscopic knee surgery midway through last season, causing him to miss more than 40 games before returning prior to the start of the playoffs. While the Raptors advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals, it was clear that Carroll was less than 100 percent, and he also developed nagging wrist and ankle injuries near the end of Toronto's run. Despite a four-month break, Carroll is apparently still recovering, though the Raptors did not provide specifics as to which injury, or injuries, are affecting him. Casey indicated that Toronto will limit Carroll's workload during camp, and his minutes will be monitored when the season begins.
